I've come to the realization that alot of the time spent on this forum is either discussing philosophical semantics, science and spirituality, the government, extractions etc etc etc.
But we're a community! We should get to know eachother better. I think we have SO much more to offer eachother than simply our chemical knowledge and opinions on "one-ness" and the universe, we're people! We should be FRIENDS!

I think we should, in this thread, share, ask questions, get to know eachother! We don't have to compromise our anonymity, we don't have to compromise our safety, but we should share our hobbies, share our art, share our music, share OURSELVES!

In my spare time I play guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, piano, violin and I sing. I'm currently recording a solo acoustic album off of my computer for the sake of personal healing and self-growth.

I'm also a blacksmith, I make knives and swords, I'm learning to make jewelery and axes and other such things. I find metallurgy to be a really interesting literal representation of chemistry in the physical world, it's just fascinating.

I'd be happy to answer any questions any of you have about metallurgy or bladesmithing, starting up your own forge or getting into that. I also sell knives and swords and do custom orders, although I"m not very good (which means it'd be cheap as fuck, of course. :) ) I wanna get to know you guys better.

What do *YOU* do with your spare time? <3

blacksmithing would have to be an awesome skill to have. I would really love to know more about metallurgy. I have always felt drawn to it but have not know where to start.

Id love to know more. Whats the process in setting up a forge?

I acutally just started writing some detailed info about what I do in my spare time... but for some reason stopped myself. I am actually a little worried that this forum may get scutinized by the law... and I dont really want to be painting too detailed a picture of myself that could be peiced together.... (sorry if this may sound paranoid... but there have been some scary raids I have heard about lately that involve police looking for 'dmt labs' and busts linked to other forums...

so in brief

I love music... I spend most of my creative time writing it. lots of different genres... been working on some really downtempo chill psychedelic ambient with my partner lately...

I also love to create art. Totally inspired by DMT. I have a few large scale banners that I have had printed and lots of smaller stuff... I also work with animation and vjing...

I love nature. bring music, art and nature together and you have my passion ... love forest doofs/festivals and used to spend a lot of time working at them...

but yeah lots more... tough to work out what to say...
 
Yes it is a little scary to open up online, especially on a website with a nature such as this, but we're all smart, irrationally insane people. We can go without compromising ourselves!

Forges can be set up in a few ways, depending on your resources and how "traditional" you want.
There are gas forges, which aren't too hard, although they can be QUITE expensive unless you want to make it yourself and make the burner, order all the fittings (which isnt actually all that hard)

Charcoal forges can be made for as little as 60$ + charcoal costs, and are quite efficient, but quite messy. Depends on whatcha want!
 
One thing I was curious about, does anyone else here do tabletop wargaming (like Flames of War, DBA, Warhammer, General de Brigade)...?
I also do armor modeling, but to a lesser extent. This is probably my biggest hobby next to/in contest with entheogenic research. It's quite a good way to ground oneself, although if you get too caught up in it it's all too easy to focus on it more than you should.

Theology/theosophy/philosophy is also a hobby, you might say. I study it a lot in my free time, reading over religious texts and books. It all ties in to entheogens, at the root.

The wargaming is number one, although I do like some good scale modeling. It's almost as good as having a real one.
I used to play Warhammer, but no longer, even though the forces of Chaos are pleasantly psychedelic at times.

That is a very detailed tank and landscape modeling.
So I take it by the term "armor modeling" you focus on primary tanks?
 
I prefer armored vehicles, tanks or no. I have a big soft spot for armored cars and light tanks. And with tabletop wargaming comes TONS of figure painting, so I have hundreds of small soldiers from various periods on my shelf.
Most armor modellers focus on engineering details and historical accuracy-- which I respect, but the important part for me is making a nitty-gritty representation of some realistic, dirty narrative moment. I don't have any pics of new stuff, but here's an old diorama I did with some friends that won an award at an art show:

Woa the bunker is well done.
Brings me back to my childhood when I was digging so called trenches in the back yard for my GI Joe figurines.
Now you make me wish I had kept on it and polished it up as an art form Banana. :p
 
I am a total whore for the imperial guard banana!

I used to really enjoy playing instruments (piano and guitar), but it doesn't call to me like it used to. Now a days I read a lot ,bike ride and take long walks. Kind of snore worthy, but it keeps me from going completely bonkers.




Oh, I was dabbling in learning French, but my computers sound went kaput, and now I'm stuck using books (Micheal Thomas and pimsluer are highly recommended). I know some French speakers though, so I'll be forcing them to teach me.
