Hello all,

Many users like to have the possibility to post a link to a supplier in their threads. The problem is that we only have one thread where the posting of (legal!) suppliers is allowed: the suppliers thread.

Here is a solution that will enable you to reference a supplier in other threads:
1. Create a post in the suppliers thread about your experience with a supplier.
2. After you created your post, at the top of the post you just created, you can see a line like this: "#1 Posted : maandag 31 december 2007 3:26:25". Now click on that #x (where x stands for the number behind the #).
3. After you have clicked on the #x you will see the direct link to that post in your address bar of your browser.
4. You can use THAT link to make a reference to a supplier in your posts.

Here is an example:
If you need good Ilex Guayusa I recommend this supplier (#17)

The benefits of this approach is that we still have one central thread for the suppliers that everybody can read through for recommendations and when a supplier goes broke or has serious issues we only have to make that clear in the supplier thread instead of all over the forum.

Yes, thats allowed as long as you use it together with a link as posted in the start of this thread. That way people can click that link to see if the information provided is still relevant.
 
It will take people directly to that post right? Not just a link to the entire thread.

Click the link in the first post... it just goes to the main thread.

The number of your post is a link directly to that post.

This just takes me to the whole thread, not any one specific post.

I have to take a look at the code of anoniem.org as it seems it's breaking of part of the link somehow (the #post9227 part). Just give me some time to fix it.
