iv been reading over a number of different techniques to broaden my understanding of the extraction process.
my question is regarding the polar extraction in marsofolds tech. which recomends heating the plant matter in vinegar water. what are the pro's and con's to heat vs. no heat. is this an unnessesary step, or one that will increase yeilds to a degree that makes it worth while? also, what is the temp range for this?

If you are going to heat the material in acidified water you might as well do an a/b and get a better cleaner yield.

Swim has been having pretty good luck extracting 100 grams at a time using a straight to base method.

100 grams MHRB
100 grams lye
1800 ml Water
100 ml Naptha per pull
Freeze precip in a mason jar
shake the shit out of it and poor through a coffee filter.

awesome looking spice! Ive heard a lot of people complaining that their spice gets ruined putting it through a filter, how do you avoid this? Would keeping the filters in the freezer help?
