I was thinking of more ways I could use my streached out naptha. I have been reusing my napthta from each pull. By freeze prcip pour off back into my heated mimosa base mixture. I would then do another pull and repeat. Which I find to be great as far as spacing out your batch so you don't have a lot of spice just sitting around. What I like to do this method so I can enjoy fresh spice every 3days. I was at my last pull when I decided to do this, my napthat was not forming any more crystals but was still quite yellow. So I evapped the naptha (took a while) and left a yellow oily gunk. I fell inlove with this gunk! It is great I like to mix some herbs and coat it with this paste and smoke. And I
know this is not changa but a bastard form of enhanced leaf. And I know the differances between enhaced leaf and changa. Changa is enchanced leaf when using cappi leaves or other moi containing plants. And enchanced leaf is not just some herbals with dmt absorbed into it.

So what I propose:
after I have reused the same naptha for a bit and still has yellow tint could a guy like me toss in some herbals let it soak and evapp all of the naptha and then smoke. I don't care about 1:1's or 2:3 I just love smoking this enhanced leaf. Also some one else mentioned that if I just let the old naptha and have the oily past if I boil water and set the bowl in it (like dubble boiling it). the rext of the naptha out and I would be left with stuff that I would have to scrape with a razor (i think he called this white scrape).
but to get back to the changa I was looking at how to make 10x cappi by using menstruum? Where can I find this solovent? I want to make 10x or maybe even higher damiana leaf too. I have the will and supplys now I just need the wisdom. Wishing I could post the the changa thread. Don't think ppl look at the nexus nursury all that often.

Not true, we look at the nursery all the time!
Menstruum is a word Dorge frequently defines in posts, and it's not a SPECIFIC solvent, it's just any solvent which contains some herbal goodies prior to your evapping it on some leaf. So your menstruum might be IPA which had caapi soaking in it for a couple of weeks; or your menstruum might be ethanol infused with mint and pau d'arco.

As for your tales of the yellow gunk, it would probably be better to evaporate the naptha and collect the gunk before evapping onto leaves, just so you have SOME idea of how much gunk you are putting on how much leaf. Otherwise you could VERY EASILY end up with: a) too much in the blend, resulting in trips of death and burned spice, or b) too little, in which case you have to smoke too much for any effects. Like working with pure spice, you really have to measure the dose. With simply evapping the yellow naptha onto herbs, you're not even eyeballing it; you're blindly leaving it to chance.

I do understand the allure of using the product of red/yellow naptha. Some of my craziest changa blends were made using the jimjam found at the bottom of jars... not a particularly healthy thing to do, but if it ain't got basified bark in it and it smells like spice...!

Why not do the director of sounds method and slip a bit of methanol into your used naphta to make the honey spice. since the methanol evaps faster than naphta anyway, right? :)

I have never uses methanol nor do I know where to get it? I live in the us would home depot have it? I'm trying to speed evap naptha by setting it in a crock pot with low setting hoping the heat will spead up the process I did this once with xylene.

Methanol=gas line anti-freeze
ok so I appologize I have a hard time wrapping my head around this: it's gas line anti freeze? Like I can get it at a gas station? Or a midas? And do ppl use it instead of naptha or do I pour this into my naptha?

Yes, this should work, just make sure that you evaporate all of your solvent (you may even want to "wash" your evapped-naptha changa in acetone and then re-evap it to make sure that all of your naptha and other solvents are gone). As I posted in DoS's "Honey Spice" thread, the exact same product as his "hony spice" can be yielded if you evaporate your naptha at the end and it doesn't require using methanol or other chems or taking any of the steps he outlines in his teks. The only possible "problem" with evaporating that he was able to point out is that your solvent may contain impurities, but you should have already test-evapped your naptha to make sure that isn't an issue because you wouldn't want to freeze-precip or evap contaminated solvent off of your xtals anyway.

Personally, I'm not a fan of extra steps or materials, thus I see no need for DoS' method ever (at least in regards to pulling "honey" spice). As far as time differences, I find it hard to believe that doing the whole honey spice tek takes less time than evapping residual naptha either onto leaves or in its own container.

OMFG! I did just trow in some mullein and some lavender and some datura and let it evap all the naptha off. And you are very right I should have mesured out that gunk! I smoked and
smoked two bong loads and I heard this crumpling noise that scared the pants off me it was getting louder and louder. I got up and ran for the door I was so scared I hit the door and collapsed to the floor. I was helped up by an entitiy of blinding light and told me that I was ready to journey over but my body was not ready. That we only get one 3dimensional life. Saying that everything has already happened and it's just playing out until I let go. That the only reason I'm still alive is that I'm holding on to this life. And that there ready to take me when ever I'm ready to cross over.
holly shit! I'm sortof glad but now looking at that pile of herb I know to portion that out right! Talk about surprise breakthrough!!!!
