Lowering to PH of 4 question.

Is it possible to extract DMT from Acacia bark by letting it sit in PH 4 water that isn't being heated?

What I kind of mean is, would letting Acacia bark sit in a PH 4 solution for 1 week unheated work just aswell as heating the same PH 4 solution for 6-8 hours?

Sure it would work. Just would take longer to extract. You could lower it to pH 2-3 non-heated and it would work better.
