1. soak MG seed powder into a sodium carbonate(baking powder) solution & shake for a few minutes
2. filter, dump solution, repeat #1 if desired
3. soak seed mush in acidic liquid
4. filter, dump seed mush
5. ???

Step one is to get rid of all of the irritating seed matter that would otherwise soak in a simple CWE. Basically, SWIM is assuming from what she's read that the alkaloids will not dissolve into a basic solution, is this a correct assumption?
Trying to avoid using toxic chemicals.
Edit: My guinea pig tried this and while she got no nausea, she also got no effects. It seems that step 1 absorbed all the alkaloids. Sorry for wasting anyone's time.
