Lsa help!

SWIM has been doing a lot of research about lsa extracts and decided to give it a try. Did a test run with 30 hbwr . Washed with naphtha two times. Let seed mush dry completely. Then extracted with 100% acetone left sit for a few hours, filtered and evaped. This is where help is needed. After the acetone was completely evaped swim was left with a thin tanish colored resedue on the bottom of the dish . So swim scraped it up into a pile. Its like a brownish crystalline powder that shimmers in the light... Is this lsa??? Or did swim mess up somewhere ?

I'm pretty sure it is. I've always heard of LSA as a brown crystalline powder.

Of course, I have never extracted it myself, so I can't say for sure. However, your method is similar to what I was planning to do, but probably better with the acetone.

Have not done this extraction myself, but it sounds like you got the product you are looking for. From my understanding, LSA isn't very stable but if the seeds are fairly fresh and were not exposed to too much heat or light, your extract should work. Let us know how it goes!:thumb_up:

Btw for anyone who wants to know!
Vm&p naphtha DOES evaporate cleanly . Water as a solvent works very well but takes a butt load of time to evap, isoprop. Alcohol and acetone( which is not a non polar solvent!!!) result in powder when evaporated

Sorry for the late response , been hella busy lately. So the extraction was a success and produced interesting effects. First hour was spent coming up. Gotta love the body high =) . After two hours there were more noticeable tracers and random color flashes . Pupils got huge and hands started sweating more. Here's where it gets interesting . Never " broke through" but did have a feeling of connection to everything around. And talking seemed very strange and foreign. Felt as if I could communicate telepathically . Altogether a great experience! About to start another right now with a more refined product

Let me shed some light. The brown powder from a crude extraction you did is a mess of alkaloids. That physical body high you got was from those alkaloids that werent LSA and the LSA and like derivatives are the psychedelic part. Pure LSA is actually white and when slightly impure it is golden. It is a very strong psychedelic when pure lol.

Much appreciated kash! The same extract was actually taken with with lemon juice and iced tea around two. And SWIM has been having an absolutely wonderful time!!! Ended up watching the perks of being a wallflower which turned out to be a wonderful movie!

Sounds like a good time. It is also alot of fun to do on a nice warm day in a sunny spot and watch clouds drift by with some music playing, Swim thinks.

Swim couldn't agree with Swim more! Unfortunately today has been rainy, but a slug was found seeking refuge on the porch and has been quite entertaining for swim to play with =) .

I am guessing (hoping!) that you didn't have to eat an extract from 30 seeds to get this effect? Did you only eat a portion of your extract, or the whole thing? Because if you did eat the whole thing, then either you lost a lot of product during extraction, or your seeds were pretty bunk to begin with.
