In an exploratory and preliminary clinical test, a team of researchers at Stanford University has obtained “initial evidence” suggesting that a psychoactive compound called ibogaine, when co-administered with magnesium, “could be a powerful therapeutic” to safely treat a variety of psychiatric symptoms, including PTSD, major depression and anxiety, and suicidality, all of which may emerge following traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Studies like this pave the way towards decreasing the level of prohibition of Iboga in the US (and, hopefully, globally) by showing it can be used safely and produce tremendous long-lasting alleviation of severe depression, PTSD, anxiety, and suicidality symptoms, where other therapies have little to no effectiveness while also sporting a good number of potential side effects.
It would be amazing to have Dr. Williams participate in the next edition of the Nexian (that would be 4) since it's a bit too late to start preparing to have him for the 3rd edition.

Big W for the psychedelic community.
