Hi, I just ordered some changa making stuff from Maya Ethnobotanicals.
I ordered:
5 g Nymphaea caerulea - flower (3) cut - Blue Lotus
20 ml Banisteriopsis caapi - *Cielo* vine (1) liquid extract 5:1
50 g Turnera aphrodisiaca - leaves (2) cut - Damiana
50 g Banisteriopsis caapi - *White* leaves (4
25 g Diplopterys cabrerana - leaves (8) - Chaliponga
I was thinking about making 2 types of changa with both having mainly caapi because of its MAOI effect and then mix in blue lotus, damiana or chaliponga, I've not decided yet how I will do the mix. First and foremost, is there any mix in my leaves that you do not recommend for some reason? Please tell in that case.
The plan is to make 10x caapi leaves from from 5:1 Caapi vine liquid extract, the information on the liquid extract is this:
Liquid Ayahuasca 5:1 extract, made from *Cielo* vines from Peru. 50 kilos dried vine was used to produce 10 liters of this brew. 20 ml brew contains 100 gram vine. Brewed by a friend in the jungle near Iquitos, Peru according to our own recipe. 10% pure 98% alcohol was added to the brew to prevent fermentation.
Highly reccommended. We have a limited and infrequent supply of this brew.
So, 2ml of liqud equals 10g of vine, can I drop 2 ml of the vine extract into 25ml of Isopropyl Alcohol, mix it a little, and then have the caapi leaves into the solvent, mix it nicely and let it evap? Will the leaves suck up the vine extract and become 10x caapi leaves? If so, do you recommend making higher extracts of caapi leaves to have in your changa like 20x or 30x and what are the effects on that?
If the proposed 10x caapi leaves extract works, is it even possible to completely skip the step to make 10x caapi leaves and simply drop 2 ml of solvent into for instance 1g of spice:500mg blue lotus and 500mg chaliponga? Is the caapi liquid going to be sucked up by the other leaves and if so, what do you recommend, skip the 10x caapi leaves or not?
