Other than the fact cigarette smoke is detrimental to your health in the long run, they are not contraindicated with harmala alkaloids.

I doubt it.

Nicotiana rustica contains harmine tetrahydroharmine and harmaline, as well as nicotine, I don't notice a nicotine potentiation when I smoke it, kind of the complete opposite.

Tobacco like Rapa Nui was used as an MAOI in Ayahuasca on ocassion. And being that it has 9x the tobacco of like a Havanna or Virginia Tabaccum, its basically a Nicotine- Trip. Natives used to roll Rapa Nui logs into their sunless regions and trip for hours.
