Hi everyone! I Apologize if my english not good enough, It is my second languages.
I am about to try pharmahuasca for the first time, but there’s an issue. It is hard and way too expensive to get harmala/rue in country where I live. I heard that nicotiana rustica (mapacho) content of MAOI is pretty decent, but I am not a good chemist. Ive been trying to find a way to extract and separate beta-carbolines and nicotine-related substances, but I haven't had a great success.
As far as I understand, I cant use basic acidification - basification process, due to the similar conditions requared to extract both types of alkaloids. And I dont want to consume high nicotine dosage with MAOI. Is there anything I can do to purify beta-carbolines and separate them from at least nicotine?
Also many rustica alcaloid content related articles don't mention beta-carbolines at all, at this point I am not even shure that nicotiana rustica contain anything.
I would really appreciate an advice.
Thanks in advance!
