Marsofold tek ?

Ok I have tryed the marsofold tek and everything seems to go well until I scrap what I believe is DMT off the dish within a minute it melts. It is nice and white when I first scrap it off so I believe it is DMT but I am not sure. I just dont know why it is melting at first I thought it was melting back into the naptha, so the last time I drained off the naptha from the dish and turned the dish upside down in the freezer with the same results. I only have a 1/2 LB left so I want to figure out what is going wrong before I attempt the last 1/2 LB

any help would be greatly appreciated

I have also had this problem. Havent found a solution that works yet, will try with this last extraction. But from what ive read it sounds like you might wanna try drying your pulls out under a fan and try to evap your solvent off without taking the dmt. Like i said i havent tried to confirm this but I will try it sometime tommorow..

How long did you let it stand upside down in the freezer? If you leave it for longer, it decreases the chance of the melting because most residual naphtha will have fallen to the lid.

If nothing else works, you can just let the oil stand outside and air dry, scrapping and re-scrapping it so that it hardens up. Once it does, you can either smoke as is (make sure all solvent is evapped), or recrystallize it and finish up either with freeze precipitation or simply with slow evaporation.

Actually I just scraped some from the very edge and it melted almost imediatly but I think it was actually ice that had somehow formed on the dish because I let it sit in the freezer for 6 hours upside down then scraped and got quite a bit of white I let it sit for hours then it melted after 2 hours turnd more yellow after what melted dryed so im still a little confused
