A friend was going to eat 350mg of mesc acetate alone. Anyone done it alone? Recommended?

these days, I almost always do it alone. 40 years ago I would not have thought of doing that because I was surrounded by like-minded friends who like me had lots of time on their hands. Nowadays, that's not the case and the one or two people I know who could copilot a journey have completely different schedules than me. So....alone is how it goes, and I'm not only used to it, but really enjoy it...it's much more introspective and rewarding now. Good luck!

is it purified mescaline acetate? or just 350 mgs. of the tar?
350 mgs. of just the tar would not be much of a journey IMO. 350 mgs. pure would be either good, or at least a good start.
and i'm very sensitive to all compounds so i'm not just saying that from hard-headedness.
i tried 300 mgs. of purified mescaline acetate two weeks ago and it was decently strong but not heavy.
it was on the lighter end of a medium trip, i'd say. a solid plus 2 on the shulgin scale.
400 mgs. of tar produced a plus 1 for me, very light.
journeying alone used to be the only way i'd do it, though i prefer to at least have an anchor (sober friend) in the other room if i need it nowadays.
there's something about tripping alone though....that's where the cactus really speaks to you.
it's like he's saying, "is it just us now?? okay, i'm gonna tell you something....listen...."
i must admit that the most precious lessons always come when i'm by myself cos that's when i'm listening instead of talking.

There seems to be quite a lot of variance with mesc sensitivity.
350mg is the standard for a medium trip, but quite a few consider this on the weak side.
I personally need over 600mg acetate before visuals, but that is lower if you have datura stramonium.
Mescaline is beautiful at any level though.

350mg of unclean acetate produced a very mild effect for me, something like 2-3g resin. A nice social dose, but very far away from any real psychedelic effects i guess.
Make sure to also brew a strong cup of coffee and drink it 2-3 hours after eating the stuff, to REALLY start the experience. And yes, chewing the strammoniums before is better than during...both strammoniums and coffee will make at least a low dose double as strong.

Every time I make tea out of my torch i usually always do it alone. I actually prefer going solo unless it's with a few of my closest friends.

It's hard for me to talk friends into it, or they just don't have the time. I trip by myself regularly. It can be a bit frustrating, when you are dying to "connect" or talk to someone and nobody is around. This is the only problem I have. I will find myself laughing or enjoying something, and looking around for someone to share the experience with. Does :roll: this, make sense?
Cleaned acetate, isn't nearly as potent for me as the uncleaned stuff. Mescaline is very mild on me, but with the other alkaloids it really kicks it up a notch. Cleaned acetate, 400mg, is just barely visual to me, very mild, more of a social trip. 400mg of uncleaned acetate is a very different experience, better to do alone.

Also do not forget it takes a while to kick in,
SWIM done 210-220mg HCL and that was a ride he said he never forget. Mayb he is just sensitive.
But best advice is start small, start slow, its a learning curve as such

He ended up eating 375mg with a friend. Barely noticable. There was alcohal and many people there though so it was probably drowned out. He wants to experiance mesc. to where it can't be drowned out, to where he says "whoa it's defonetly working" what is a good dose?

In high doses it invokes delirium, but the threshold level is very close to the lethal dose.
It can be used safely as an additive to other substances.
Three seeds is the common dose for these purposes, but some need more.
Ten seeds per day seems to be the max safe dose.
Most entho vendors carry them. Ebay is an easy source.
Keep an eye out, as there are multiple strains of datura.
