mescaline extraction help please?

]im just doing the de fatting process for the first time and after adding the solvent twice it is no longer seperating very clearly but there is around a quarter of cacti that i can see has seperated... is this normal? should i just have to wait longer on the third attempt or is this an emolseve layer!!
as it stands i have put it in a hot bath to seperate, but its not moving!!

any help will be much apprecia

your defatting with cacti visable? sounds odd try and filter it out then defat, make multiple batches probably due to solubility
