Used xylene for the extraction, worked great.

Toluene can be used in place of benzene. Benzene is also used in watch making for cleaning the hairsprings.
Hey brother, how's it going? Can you answer a question for me? I'm making a mescaline extract to soak in blotter paper and use as LSD, and I'm mixing LSD with the mescaline liquid. However, I'm extracting the cactus by soaking it for six days in 95% grain alcohol, and then I strain it and rub it on activated charcoal to improve the color and prevent staining the blotter. Do you think this is a good technique?

Total waste of mescaline. No noticeable amount will fit on a sensibly sized blotter, and your extraction method sucks.
