mescaline!

so i just boiled up 60g of ground up cacti mixed with citrus acid and boiling water for an hour or so, i finished and transfered to another container for further examination and at the bottom of the pan was a clear salt like substance...it has no taste and no smell...
any ideas what this could be??

im sure its not mescaline... it was hard to keep hold of so it went down the sink...

Not sure. Probably nothing you will miss if it had no taste.

What's your next move? Why the citric acid?
