mg of DMT per full dose of aya

So the last few times I've tried aya I took the DMT more than 30 minutes after downing the caapi and have since learned that MAO inhibition won't practically last that long. Because of this the dosages I tried are kinda meaningless since next time I'm going to be taking the DMT simultaneously. Instead of stacking my doses I want to take my full 75-100g of caapi all at once. I've been searching all over the web for ayahuasca dosages while being aware that I want high MAOIs and low DMT. There's been a lot of conflicting answers but I saw one page that said traditional cups have 30mg DMT to 50g caapi. I don't know if the caapi in question was of higher quality than what I'm used to or if the recipients of those cups drink multiple times over the night. Would 30mg/100g caapi be enough or should I just scale the figure I saw up to 60mg/100g caapi?

30mg is a good place to start with oral dmt. For some that is an intense experience, especially if in the presence of a lot of vine or rue.

And yeah 50g caapi is really low (unless its super potent stuff) and for some not even enough to really kick in the tryptamines. I'm not sure why thats so often spread as the standard dosage either.. Some groups in the amazon take in upwards of 200g caapi

For me personally and IMO 50g vine to 30mg dmt is very low in dmt and ok in vine. Like uni said maybe a good starting point but I wouldnt expect much to happen.

My cautious first timer recommendation is 60g caapi with 50mg dmt. That should be safe but an actual experience unless your body requires more caapi for full inhibition of your guts MAO.

If you drink this and feel nothing after 45 min-1 hour max drink 20g more caapi. I am assuming you are brewing and keeping the separate and if you haven't done so already do this. It makes a world of ease to dose correctly.

If at 30 more min from that you aren't coming up hard then I would recommend drinking more dmt containing liquid. 10-15mg at a time until you are there.

My sweet spot for a strong aya experience is 125g vine with 100mg dmt. Thats just me everyone is different but sometimes it helps to take a consensus of others dosing to get a clearer picture and decide whats best for you.

Thanks olympus. I never intended to drink just 50g, but i wanted to know if 30 mg would be enough for an entire night's journey if 75-100g was consumed at once. I just didnt know if 60mg woulda been too much if I drink a full 100 to start.

But just for clarification would 30mg synergize nicely with a swig of 100g caapi? Ive seen 25-30mg as a pharma dose heavy on Harmalas. I want to obviously be able to feel it but I am oh so careful about not overdoing our threatening tryptamine friend.

Yes with 100g caapi that should ensure FULL maoi so I think 30mg will give you a dmt experience. I guess others are saying that 30mg gave them pretty significant effects it just has never been the case for me. I feel 30mg is quite low to be honest for oral but everybody's body is different.

Go the safe route. 30mg dmt. It sounds like you would rather have a lite one than chance a strong one. If you drink that much caapi you will certainly have a journey of some sort.

I think your doing it right for a first time. I wouldn't drink 60mg dmt with that much caapi for your first time so good call on that.

Also just to be safe I STRONGLY recommend not drinking more than 60g vine your first dose that night. People can be very sensitive to caapi. You can always re dose.

Read up and get to know the signs of harmala intoxication. When you are demonstrating this your good to go, stop drinking vine and adjust dmt dosing from there on.

What was stronger than you expected? The harmalas effects or the dmt or can you not tell the difference?
50g black caapi on a sensitive system can be a lot but I'm still surprised if the dmt side of things was strong at just 30mg.

Sometimes its had for people new to aya to tell the difference of which plant/substance is the strong side or of its both.

I just knew that I've heard about a certain threshold where the DMT overpowers the Caapi or makes the content too chaotic to effectively integrate and I wanted to make sure that 60mg/100g wasn't over that threshold. From what you say it doesn't appear to be so Ima go with that.

Ok hold on a min because we have a lot of numbers floating around right now and Im getting a little confused.

I dont think 100g vine with 6omg dmt is a good idea for your first time, at least not all in once dise. Its not dangerous per say but will more than likely be VERY strong and Im not sure that is what you are wanting your first go. Maybe it is. maybe its too strong for you I dont know you so its hard to advise on that. Play it safe like you are planning.

Yes, 100g vine with 60mg dmt is balanced well as far as the dmt not over powering the caapi making the exp chaos and hard to get much from but it will be strong.

Like I said I often recommend 60g vine with 50mg dmt for a significant effects first time dose that shouldn't be too much to handle but certainly worth your effort.

That is basically the same as 60g caapi with 60g chacruna in a brew of ayahuasca. 1 to 1 ratio is pretty standard.

I dont think you should dose 100g vine and 60mg dmt at once. Break it up. Maybe drink 50g vine and 30mg dmt and wait 45 min. then re dose accordingly.
