mhrb bunk but still produces mystery crystals

Hello my main reason for writing this is for one reason, to get an answer about the "mystery crystals" that I occasionally come across in the spice from mhrb (powdered). In my case I find it will either be business as usual or I get nothing but about 1/2 the normal (.5 / 100g) of a milky white crystals that are completely bunk. I would describe the feeling as being like your about to blast off then nothing but a dizzy felling and slight upset stomach. Now lets just assume my tek and smoking tek are OK because I've tried different teks, and been smoking for years, has anyone else come across this dilemma?

Are you taking any other medications or drugs? Supposing you really have MHRB if you are extracting with a solvent like Naphtha, Heptane or the like then the crystals you are collecting should be fairly pure DMT, think 90%+. Swelling in your hand sounds like some sort of hypertensive crisis. I imagine something else is going on rather than bunk bark or crystals and some underlying condition is causing your 'blockage'.

Yup, based on how everything sounds, you very well may be experiencing lockout. Take a break from it for a while, live life, and come back to it. DMT and the space will still be there waiting patiently for your return.

No I don't take any medication and I have some spice from my last batch that worked perfectly fine.

IF it was anything in terms of alkaloid content, you could verify it with a TLC kit, specially if you have an old spice that works to compare it to.

I just ordered one today. Idk why I didn't think about trying this but thanks for the idea.

If it's not the meds then I'm also of the opinion it's lock out. The idea that you are pulling something other than DMT with Naphtha is preposterous and shouldn't even be entertained. TLC kit can help you, yes but if you're getting white crystals from MHRB it's DMT unless you put something else in there with it. The "Mystery Alkaloids" or "Jungle Alks" in MHRB are pulled with Xylene, evaporated and result in goo, not crystals and is usually orange to red in color.

Thanks for the info also I'm questioning whether it is indeed mhrb to start with.

I always start with chipped and it's nice and pink with that "chocolaty goodness" scent. It smells like chocolate to me and when you grind it it has some Kratom overtones as well, I think that's just tree smell.

If you take some powder and put it in acid does it turn deep purple? Scoop some sludge out of a jar and pour vinegar on it, the vinegar should turn purple.
