Hi guys I recently obtained MHRB again so I'm doing a small 50g extract right now. My question is, how do I keep the Lye from sticking to the bottom of the jar. I've noticed it is very hard to scrape up as well is there something I'm missing? Does it affect the yield drastically and should I add more Lye maybe?

Add the lye to the water in smaller portions, stir until it dissolves completely, and add more. It is unwise to add it all st once as it could either flash boil and shatter your jar due to thermal shock, or blow out the top in a volcano of hot basic water.
I had that happen once in a erlenmeyer flask, literally a volcano x) Stay safe, mix patiently.
