Mimosa Bark Extraction Help

Giving the general extraction techniques, what's the most preferred type of Mimosa Hostilis Bark, i.e., Whole, shredded, or powdered?
I thought it'd be different depending on the tek used but wasn't certain.
I'm new to the extraction scene but I'm deeply interested.

Powdered IMO the smaller it is the more surface area for chemicals to come in contact with and work there magic, and I believe means faster results.

It does depend on the tek. Finely powdered isn't really ideal if you're going STB. But for an A/B it works great.

SWIM has some powdered using STB (Lazyman's tek) extraction method. SWIM has 100 grams of powdered MHRB first mixed in really high pH lye solution and right after that lots of naptha was added and was shaken vigorously. Sitting for over 5 hours now.

This was the first MHRB tek on the net for extracting the desired alkaloid from MHRB using broken or solid pieces of root bark without the need to powder the material but is actually a better process for powdered. This tek works great with broken pieces of bark but takes longer than if you first powder the bark. That is the only real difference between using either form of bark, less time if powdered, but I also believe if you let powdered material sit much longer in the NaOH basified water it will have higher yields than if only doing a quick extraction when powdered.

I guess it should work with powdered MHRB.
