greetings fellow travelers,
i recently took 2-3 months off weed and been smoking again on and off. i honestly just want a healthy relationship with cannabis since i tend to abuse it, plus my ayahuasca experiences i embark on weekly tend to talk to me about weed alot when im abusing it. right now im smoking 2 4-6 second puffs from a vape mostly everyday and just wanna know/hear others experiences when it comes to moderating usage to a healthy amount since i feel weed can really mess you up mentally once you go down that slippery slope.

Here we go again

*Assuming you are Puffing on a weed vape not DMT?

I used to be a weed head back in the 90's, took a massive break and only got back into it about 3 years ago to fix my Neuropathic pain. I've found my daily intake to be a net benefit to me for more than just the pain, brighter more connected brain and I'm sure my business would stress me out a lot more than it does if it wasn't for my nighttime routine of instant relaxation.

I've probably got the opposite of an addictive brain, nothing has ever managed to latch onto me.

My evening is:
0.25g In the PAX Mini
Then later on
0.1g in the Dynavap
I always use a good balanced THC/CBD bud or blend my weed to be sure to get enough CBD in the mix to stop my heart racing, but enough THC to pretty much guarantee a good night's sleep, and mostly avoid any memory loss like totally forgetting what movie we just watched!

99% of the time this routine stays exactly the same, I don't feel I'm building any tolerance either. Very very occasionally I may have 2x 0.1g Dynavap sessions in 1 evening, I'm really happy to be a lightweight.

**If you happen to be puffing on a DMT vape then at the moment I'm doing that maybe twice a week at low levels, mostly around 1 session of Yoga a week, 2-3 other Yoga sessions totally un-enhanced.

thc vape, 5 or so days ago i got this .5g cart and only been hitting it twice a day. usually in the evening or after the day is over. im just mostly concerned about if its considered "problematic" or if my usage falls under normal and i shouldnt worry too much, because few months back i was taking dabs all day everyday, last i counted it was 6-8 dabs a day. i just want a healthy relationship with weed since thats a very common theme for me with ayahuasca is that i have to build a healthier/better relationship with cannabis.

i may try this tonight lmao. i try to keep my thc doses on the lower end since most of the time when i get really stoned it just feels dysphoric.

After almost 40 years of cannabis use, I've cut back in the most drastic way possible: I quit completely almost 8 months ago. It was a firm decision I made after taking 250mg of harmalas while lying down, to think about how best to deal with my driver's license suspension that happened a week earlier after being tested THC positive on roadside check. I couldn't afford longer to keep driving with that sword of Damocles hanging over my head, with all the legal risks that entails.
Quitting it was easier than I imagined, especially since it was done somewhat out of necessity, rather than genuine desire. Over time, I'd convinced myself I needed it, particularly to fall asleep, but that wasn't true. It took me a week to adjust my sleep schedule to this new reality. I didn't experience insomnia, just the need to readjust my sleep schedule without the on/off cannabis switch. And in doing so, I also realized just how much of a dreams thief cannabis is! My dreams are very vivid now and it's very pleasurable.
After eight months, the results are very positive, even though I loved cannabis. Procrastination is a thing of the past. I used to smoke my joints with tobacco, so I've also quit smoking tobacco for good. Cannabis was a backdoor into tobacco. Apart from joints, I no longer consumed any since I've been vaping nicotine for over ten years.
I feel that harmalas have greatly helped me make the right choices and decisions about cannabis, although I used to enjoy the combination of both. They also helped me quit booze for good some years ago, with the same ease (I was drinking a bit too much...). I think it's a very powerful tool to understand mechanisms underlying one's addictions, among other magic that commitment with rue/harmalas can provide.

Cannabis is a tricky thing. I was a big time stoner for almost a decade and I feel grateful my lovely wife came into my life and was fully against it and I desperately needed to stop for my mental health. These days I have it every now and then, usually low dose. I did slip into poor habits again twice. It's now been almost a decade since the first time I stopped. As long as I stick to every now and then it's fine. However, I find when it's an every now and then thing I'm actually not that into it.

I really should try harmala + cannabis, or should I not..? hehe

In contrast to smoking weed, I find vaporizing a combination of hemp and cannabis flower much gentler on the body and mind, while still being pretty uplifting and impactful, at least without a high tolerance.

I like to do approximately one part cbd hemp, one part cbg hemp, and two parts weed, so basically a 1:1 ratio of hemp and cannabis.

i think if you want a "healthy relationship with weed" then smoke as much weed as you want and throw the weed vape in the trash! 😂
i am and will always be a stoner at well over 50 and it solves more issues than it creates.
vapes on the other hand..... not natural... not weed.... and who knows whats in it.
some here have quite strong views against using it and dmt, i don't...everyone is individual.... the important thing is figuring out what is right for you, NOT what peoples say is right for you 😉

Has your changa and DMT use faltered with your limited cannabis usage ;) @blig-blug

One love
In my case, moderation with cannabis takes no effort at all. At low doses, I just don't like it (regrettably, as I wish I could get from it what many other people seem to get, particularly in stressful periods like now). So once a year or so, I will have a large dose, be mind-blown, and have no desire whatsoever to touch it again for a long time :P

wow what part of the world is this?... hope they don't introduce that here or im fucked😂
I used to smoke my joints with tobacco
ah ok, so europe somewhere i expect.
i used to do that im originally from there.

now that you have quit tobacco, as i have also managed 8 years ago... try quitting caffeine....especially COFFEE.... the effects of quitting that are amazing and very noticable. hundreds of vids on youtube if you are curious.
im about 9 months in and the amount of energy i have now compared to then is night and day.
research caffeine addiction, its a bigger problem than i ever imagined.
everyone in the world is addicted!!!!!

Not necessarily. It's possible to make your own resin extract and then put it in an adequate vape or cart. With the right device no PG, VG or anything like that is needed. That's likely much healthier than smoking, as you aren't inhaling tar or other products of combustion.

while yes that is possible, almost nobody does.
perhaps the op can let us know if he did that or bought it off some guy👍
and the jury is still out on the whole "vaping is healthier"
yes it is more common now and lots of money is being made from it ....so.....theres always that 😂
im sure whoever invented weed and invented smoking it by humans was a bit too dumb to make a vape, lucky for us humans there was a corporation to take care of that😂😂

I drink barely any coffee or tea (or only herbal without methylxanthines). It happens sometimes I have 1 chicory-coffee blend cup (80% chicory/20% coffee) upon waking but most of the time I drink pure chicory. I don't drink pure coffee, I don't even have any at home. I don't like caffeine effects...
