Now that I think about it, I think every single ayahuasca journey I have ever taken include visions of the moon, sun or stars. Sometimes those things are very much in focus. I believe the sun, moon, stars, earth are common archetypes that come to life in trips, as well as other archetypes like eyes, faces, various insane geometries (as well as simple geometries), and death. I have noticed that things get personified on psychedelics. So, moon visions take on a quality that are more moon like than the actual moon because the moon will take on a living quality, and usually it's a quality of a "higher being". Usually this living quality is one in which nature itself tells me, "I've been watching you, my child. I'm not inanimate, the whole universe is alive and watching you." I feel like I've had conversations with the moon and sun. Archetypes really come to life. What does this mean? I'm not sure. But one thing I notice that is constant among entities is that they all seem to want the same thing.... love.
Visions that involve the space like imagery for me usually play out in a way in which I am below, and the moon or sun or stars are above and showering me with transcendental love and beauty, as I bask in their heavenly glory.
