Hi all,
Since my last post here a few weeks ago i've obtained a lot of MHRB and Syrian Rue.
I've brewed up some "ayahuasca" mixes.
The first time, I did 3g Syrian Rue and 2g Mimosa. It was a pleasant, calming and mildly visual experience. Shared with my girlfriend.
The second time I did 3.5g Syrian Rue and 5g Mimosa. It was a beautiful and highly uplifting experience, again with mild visuals. I shared this experience with my girlfriend and another friend. We all similarly pleasant (euphoric) experiences and felt a shared energy. My girlfriend was left with an incredible afterglow which was so pleasing to see.
More recently we did another brew, 4g Syrian Rue and 6g mimosa. My girlfriend was battered with anxiety for her entire trip from the point of drinking her second cup (from 3g to 6g), and from the sounds of it was presented many lessons to do with control. She is however grateful for the experience. My friend went completely insular and was "trapped in a void with nothing inside of it except himself" and spent the entire trip "stuck with himself" in this void. He was completely broken by this experience and is still having difficulty integrating.
On the other hand, I felt as if almost "nothing" happened. I had some minor CEVs and some introspection, lessons about expectations amongst others. I was expecting, having done more that I would have a deeper trip but this couldn't be further from the case, which I find interesting.
Other than our subjective psychological states, the only variable was the music. Is it the case that the music, (despite an increased dose) can have such a profound effect on the "depth" of the experience?
My girlfriend and my friend now need some time out to integrate, however I plan on journeying further this weekend.
