music that gets you through life..

Migrated topic.
I highly recommend buying Hallucinogen in dub - "live in brixton"

It's a full live band, drummer included doing live improvised versions of a few Hallinogen in dub tracks plus a few others. The energy they put into these chill tunes to make them more of a live event is immense. All the better because I was there :)

Anyone got the whole album of Hallucinogen mixed by ott?
Seriously get that if you haven't already got it.

I have both Hallucinogen in Dub mixed by Ott and the live album from Brixton Academy. I was there that night and it totally blew my mind. Anything by Twisted Records usually hits the spot.

^^Ditto man! That was an incredible night... :d New Shpongle album soon... 8)

Can't wait for the new album, hopefully it won't be delayed. Did you see them live at the Roundhouse last October? An amazing night. I then went to the after party for Ott, Prometheus and Eat Static. A very cool night out except the bit where we had to leave the Roundhouse and head across London to the club. Trying to avoid police and sniffer dogs while on acid was an experience I don't wish to repeat!!

Haha yes man I was at the Roundhouse and the after party...the massive queue to get in to the after party was a bit of a bummer, but was a very cool night. Nearly got busted by the sniffer dogs (one of my friends did) but managed to avoid any unpleasant entanglements, while shrooming on the tiniest pinch of Hawaiian mushrooms...was fun. :d

Almost anything by Aesop Rock does me. Specifically:

I am unable to sleep right now and i was listening to this track that put me in a trance without the aid of substance, so i thought i'd post it.

Aes Dana opalin

oldie is goldie:

"OH YEAH"

german "krautrock"...

i wonder if the singer is using some sort of 'hyperspace-language' here...

by the way:

i wish i were a pygmy of Rwanda, making music that gets me through my life...
😉
it seems to me, this people have conserved a better natural connectivity to hyperspace than people from industrial cultures....
