music that gets you through life..

Migrated topic.
@ sunshinerecorder. Velvet Underground is great, youtube search andy warhol's exploding plastic inevitable. And I've had that track by gas on replay for weeks. 12+ minutes of liquid chill-out.

These guys, sun city girls, are dmt in sonar form. They are incredible.

Right now this is some music that is getting me through life. Last month I was listening to a lot of Magma and Henry Cow, but this album is really getting to me right now.
The amazing Judee Sill

@thymamai WOW that exploding plastic inevitable video is cool stuff! The youtube vid I watched wasnt of the best quality but still a really cool multimedium peek into that whole pop art scene! Not sure how I feel about Warhol as a whole but he definitely did/was around some neat things. And I love the vocal harmonies on the latter half of cruel and thin!

another favourite, different sort of Ozy hip hop
Muph and plutonic
+ Don't worry about nothing

There are parts of this 25 minute soundscape cake that sound exactly like the engine unit of a freight train, if you've ever been up close to one creeping slowly by.. You can feel it's power rattle in your chest. Just turn up the bass if you have good speakers -- apparently not the same effect with headphones when I tried that. If somethings got a strong bass end I always crank it as loud as possible. Hard to find, but this track has got a lot of it.

Always been nuts on the song venus in furs, and thought the vid went very well aesthetically. But agreed on andy worhol. I'm glad you like.
