Hah, yeah, my friend plays the musical cactus in a band. It's pretty sweet. 
Synchronistically... he was doing renovations on his room, knocked out a wall, and found that some previous tenant had hidden a light-up, rainbow, changing-color LED cactus back there that looks almost like the cactus he plays! Psychedelic...
