20 years means nothing..Ive met some real naive people that have 20 years on me..its a stupid suggestion to make that 20 years somehow means you know more.

Guys - give Pandora the benefit of the doubt - I believe she meant that we must wait 20 years to see how things unfold with respect to spice, legality, and paranoia - not to mention the public's perception of entheo/psychedelics and their users. Am I right Pandora?

Pandora, the bottom line is that the law enforcement is unpredictable. Nobody knows who they will bust, who they will go after, and for what reason, until it is too late. It's when people get cocky about the law, then the law comes up and bites them. I'm not sure if you have ever been caught by law enforcement for drugs, but I have had a few run ins with the law, that makes me much more cautious now. It is not fun to get owned by the same system that is supposed to be here to help us.
So perhaps you are being a little harsh on those of us who cannot get caught again, those of us who have lost everything due to NOT being paranoid enough.

I must agree with fractal, one can be dumb/closed-minded/ignorant/undeveloped in many sense when old, and others can be very mature developed etc and be young, and this also varies in what area of development one is talking about. So inter-personal judgement through age is invalid imo.

Both sides of this discussion are correct in my opinion age has nothing to do with knowledge. I have know 13year olds how were smarter and wiser than 50 year olds.
As time passes the number of life experiences you are forced to deal with increases this does not increase intelligence necessary hence the famous quote "Some people will never learn" and I think this is true.
As you encounter these hurdles of life you can blindly ignore there implications and proceed with the easy way that suits you run right thru them with no attempt to jump and clear them. I other words you will fail.
Or you can think and train your mind and body and you will in the beginning likely jump and fall but at least you tried. As time goes on you can refine your skills by continuing to train mind and body even though there are no hurdles to jump at the moment.
This is life and the hurdles will return and you will be forced to preform it you have been training your mind and body you will jump them with ease. But you must remember the hight of these hurdled will increase beyond your current ability to jump so you must train your mind and body harder.
It has nothing to do with age it has to do with potential ability and as you age you encounter more and more experiences you have never could have imagined you would be faced with. And so you face them and make the decision to take the easy way ie"who cares if I fail" or you can train your mind and body to the best of your ability and still you may fail, but you know know you must train harder.
The generation gap is real and a beneficial thing when you are young you have few life pressures so it is easy to say I will be just fine with my current belief system. As you are and encounter more challenges you will find life is difficult and NO ONE has all the answers.
Well dont want to get to long winded here. I hope the Nexus is still up in twenty years Pandora will be 60years old and myself 65years old. I hope to rehash this discussion then! Because you younger folks here will be explaining the same thing Pandora has tried to convey to you today.

Yes, *OF COURSE* there are going to be exceptions. And I am quite aware of the existence of child prodigies. It is no difficult feat to find a young person who seems smarter and more motivated than someone older than them. I do not mean to insinuate that it is impossible. Regardless, there are important life lessons, a sense of perspective, and a sense of cautious optimism that can only come with age. I don't care how many child Mensas there are. They don't have the experience yet.
