My Changa Experiments

4th July 2026

‘Assisted’ Morning Yoga 11.30-12.30 with small hits on the 600mg vape juice. Took a little while to dial in the right level but finished relaxed and focused. A few minor shakes on the mat and a little emotion surfacing, I think I sometimes feel emotion about myself and all my aches and pains and I keep saying/thinking that if I was a depressive sort of person I would be getting ground down by what are sometimes almost constant back and gut issues. So this may be a release of that frustration.

Changa Mix 3

14.15
One Bowl of Changa plus 2 seconds of 600mg vape after finishing the bowl.
Much yawning.
On a 3 second vape hit it’s making me want to curl up and sleep so guessing this 3rd Changa mix is still a bit too harmala heavy for me, too much Passion Flower maybe?

15.15 Weirdly second comfort break after a load of yawning! This must be a Changa / smoked Harmalas thing!

The Changa effects alone were simply nice sparkly waves of colourful visuals.
The next 2-3 second hit on the vape makes me a little tired. I breathed through it, a trippy feeling but not as much as during my yoga earlier.
The visuals and feelings are ‘Thick’ like pushing through Golden Syrup.
I think I may be finding my limit to smoked Harmala, this makes it unappealing even if I get a pretty light show.

Back to the Changa drawing board eh!

This one has got to have been the extra Harmine from the Passion Flower as Mix 3 has less Harmalas than the perfectly decent Mix 1, maybe I need to sprinkle a little extra DMT in Mix 1 & Mix 3 and see if it gives it a lift.

The biggest drawback of making Changa:
It requires loads more DMT than you would use making Vape Juice, it's far less efficient in its administration, experimenting with changa is then in turn wasting my time and effort making extractions. I currently feel like I've never enough DMT ready to experiment with Blends.

I have 3 batches of Changa and none of them are perfect, they probably all need attention to reduce the Harmala and increase the DMT content, this means more MHRB extraction, more grain alcohol, more herbs (Herbs aren't a problem) and more time which is the biggy!

What should I do?

I may have to setup a spreadsheet to make deciding what to do with these 3 mixes easier!
Should I mix everything together, adding up all the harmalas and DMT amounts, try work the ratio out then add more herbs to dilute the harmalas and add more of DMT for a better ratio of Spice to MAOI?
Should I include the amount of Passion Flower as if it were MAOI?

I already added 100mg extra NN powder to my Changa Mix 1 and just mixed it through dry. (Might try later today)

*Edit, if I mixed all 3 batches together then added the 'new additions' maybe I'd have a better balance, but feck me that would make a lot of Changa, that I may or may not use!

When excel is out, you know that stuff just got serious
Mix 3 looks like the most sound ratio, but I'm far from an expert.

@Voidmatrix, what say you?
Yeah, shit just got real! hahahaha

I just needed a visual to let me see the amounts rather than calculate stuff like 1:1:8 which all ends up being meaningless to me. I do use spreadsheets to do costings and other calculations in my business but its very long-hand when I do it, nothing fancy.

Currently thinking smaller batches and only 8-10% of it being Harmalas:

Hey bud, I am just waking up. Catch me up. What's the problem and where do things presently stand?

It starts up ^here^ in the thread My Changa Experiments I'm pretty sure I am over-egging the Harmalas for my body. As when I took some vape hits after the Changa it was making me sleepy, questioning whether the addition of Passion Flower and its Harmine maybe pushed the harmala past my comfort zone.

Then I have a whinge ^here^ My Changa Experiments cos I feel like I'm wasting good spice and i need to ratioalise and dial this process in so I don't waste anything else until I really know what I'm doing and the effects its going to bring.

I've just scaled things down to a smaller batch with all fresh ingredients, as per the last spreadsheet above:
DMT 210mg
Harmalas 40mg
Damiana 250mg
4ml 95% Grain Alcohol

And it's in a cute little jar! I should get 2 or 3 small bowls out of this with a bit of luck.

There's a very easy fix, and you're not wasting anything by the way.

Your blends are a variety of changa that most people aren't familiar with, so your concerns are understandable. Generally, harmalas are a feature, not the main event, and many of your blends have it as the main event.

Center your blends around 1:1 on the DMT:herbs ratio. Regardless of your harmala addition, keeping this ratio should make things more interesting.

Last, and I say this a lot, but build a relationship with harmalas on their own. This will help you to navigate them better when coupled with DMT and will help you dial in your blends to your liking.

So my latest mini-mix should be more on the right lines.

I've started another MHRB extraction, I'll look to tweak my first 3 Changa mixes after that when I've got a 2 or 3 grams to play with.

Thanks

Back in my changa days, I had a harmala-infused mullein leaf batch just to adjust the ratio when needed.
This approach was far from perfect, but it worked. Somehow my body loves both harmalas and DMT.
It always wants more and craves them like sugar...
