My experiences have been so confusing..

In a good way. I've experienced so much in so few journeys that I'm not even sure what a breakthrough is anymore. I honestly don't know the classification or how to classify what I've been through. When I first started I was easily overpowered and had no choice to close my eyes voluntary or not. I just took 45mg through the GVG, I can't do this one or two hit thing I've been reading about. It's not incapable lungs, it's just like.. I keep hitting the thing and the vapor keeps coming, about four pulls. It's gotta be technique. Anyway, after these four pulls I had my eyes open I think but I was not in my room. I can't describe the place I was at but I had a very odd sense of deja vu. Every experience has been different except for two. This one was the most bizarre of all. I have come out of my experiences rather easily but after this one all I could do was question what the hell just happened? Having a journey through your mind is one thing, I get that part it's easier to accept. But I can't believe my entire surroundings changed. I had no sense of where I was. Has anyone else had experiences like this?

Sounds to me like you are not getting the ceramic disc hot enough, or you are not using choreboy/flavor disc to hold the DMT in, or you are using a lighter rather than a torch. Or a combination of 2 or more of those things. I highly recommend perfecting your technique. Not only will you be getting a much better experience, but you also wont be running into any hardcore surprises that a 45mg dose WOULD do IMO. You will also save more DMT by not needing to load so much.

This is a typical experience with DMT. In a very basic explanation, there are experiences where you are still aware, not aware at all, fully formed visuals, or mostly geometric and a pretty lights style of visuals. A lot of the time, for me anyways, breakthroughs cause this sense of being somewhere unknown. It's a pretty intense sensation really.

The deja-vu feeling is very common for me on higher doses.Nowadays I usually conclude its just me remembering forgotten aspects of some of my previous journey's.But I do remember having that same feeling even during some of my first trips as well.

Being in the "other place" to me is the hallmark of the DMT experience. It is otherworldly, yet so familiar.

Despite its otherworldliness, a good DMT trip not only feels very real, it can in fact feel more real than the regular experience. Makes you wonder what this thing "reality" really is..

Before I purchased my GVG I had a wooden VG and I did get a surprise one hit clearing one time and it was chaotic. With the GVG I can see what's going on inside. Oddly enough with the wooden VG I could get thick clouds of vapor, with the GVG not so much.

Yeah, I don't know what's up. I'm still trying to figure it out. For whatever reason I could get thick vapor from the wooden VG but not from the GVG. I am using the copper scrubber at the moment until I order some ceramic disks. I'm probably not using enough heat but from my limited experience I noticed there's a fine line between vaping the stuff and burning it.

IME, there is a fine line using other methods. With the gvg that line is more like a big fat sharpie.

I have only burnt dmt once with the gvg and that was when I was lighting it for someone else. You can get the ceramic disc glowing without burning it. Just inhale more quickly as soon as you start to see vapor.

Just remember, you can control the temp with amount of heat applied AND inhalation speed.

This is where my limited experience kicks me in the ass. From what you're saying it seems like I'm not using enough heat.

Load 10mg and learn how to vape it all in one hit using more heat. You will know you are near the end when the vapor becomes less dense during inhalation. That's when I remove the torch and clear it.

If you burn it then try slightly less heat or Increase inhalation speed. For me I found the sweet spot for heating to apply the tip of the torch flame directly onto the ceramic until it starts to glow. Then using a back and forth motion of an inch or more keep the ceramic slightly glowing or not quite glowing.

I start inhaling very slowly as soon as I apply heat to the ceramic disc. I increase inhalation as soon as it starts to glow.

When you are using the GVG, make sure that during vaping the flame is just about the distance it takes to make the stone glow a little bit red hot. Just at the edge of having a red hot glowing stone and a dark non glowing one is about the distance that will make sure you vape it properly without burning anything.

I'm using a torch lighter, not the Turbo Arc, but a decent one I got at a local head shop. Now, you're the second person to say this same thing so I'm pretty sure I'm not using nearly enough heat. I've read in some threads that you want to start with the flame an inch or two away from the head with the ceramic in it. I haven't gotten that thing anywhere close to glowing.

My first coherent thought on my very first experience was "we have been here before!" After I got past the WOW factor.......it is a very common thing for me to sense that none of it is foreign, unnatural, false, or new. It is somehow familiar and part of my existence.
