Well i did a pull and couldn't figure out why i was having such a bad colorless experience.time after time.i thought i had done the evap test right.i guess i didn't ..so i switched vendors..i thought it was the bark..​

(This all takes place over the course of a year or so.and being the THIRD different batch of bark (two being from the same vendor, but from different regions, and the third one from a new, highly praised one on reddit)still ended up with a tainted product.
so now it i knew couldnt be the vendor,i went back to the drawing board to mull over everything.again.for what seemed to be the millionth time..

Over something that causes my brain to stutter...that i had been brought a gallon of fuel ...with rust inhibitor...,
.in tears as i realized what this all meant,had to come to grips that the real cause of all the wasted bark,the countless hours going over things in my head ,writing them down and re-reading them,not to mention,the really bad trips i had when trying my newly cleaned up product.
At times it ended up to be light yellow ,and not looking like anything that wouldn't have been safe to use, still getting a horrible colorless panicked dirty feeling experience.. ...
and i finally have another batch of bark here basifiied and ready to go, and due to California restrictions,cant get anything to finish it with....so any suggestions would be appreciated.
Here you can see the green tinge.and this is the same thing in different light....how could i be so stupid.i had used fuel before and it worked well. So I can't believe this got past me...so please dont flame this stupid stupid head too badly...already beating myself up enough.dont need anyhelp.lol.lighter fluid works right?fuck also i prefer thr full spectrum spice vs the white thks all

Sounds like you've keyed into something being off with your extract based in your description of "such a bad colorless experience.time after time". I cant speak to whether you'd be able to clean out the rust inhibitor with another recrystallization. You may look into mini a/b with new solvent without the additive but it may be wise to chalk that extract up to a loss if it wasn't a large amount of bark invested.

Always review the MSDS of solvents and chemicals used in your extracts. There are threads on here such as The official "Is this chem ok to use? / Where can I find ...?" thread.

Not sure but looks like your extract may still be wet from solvent? Your likely to get the feedback of avoiding plastic when possible especially when it comes in contact with solvents.

Yeah I hadn't stumbled upon this amazing resource yet so when I first started doing this last extraction pictured above,I didn't have that .

I tried getting the rust inhibitor out, just maybe seeing if it could be done ,and even though the product actually came out looking fine,I tried a little bit of it and I started to feel like i was getting a hot flash..and I just said screw it cuz I just finally got into another my other 200 g pack of bark from a different vendor and very happy with it.
So you know I just decided that it wasn't even worth it with all the stress and shitty trips and just the distress I've had to deal with just throughout this whole process of narrowing down what the hell I did wrong...
I just can't believe how long it took me! I really thought it was a vendor I honestly did. And then, after I tried it AGAIN once I had done that recrystal after I knew what the issue really was hoping to purify lt ...so unfortunately I had to throw it out...
and it was about a half gram. and yeah someone else had mentioned that to me in another post that I included with those pictures I didn't really realize that plastic was that big of a deal even if it was just for the finished product.. but now I actually have it in a glass baby food jar so yay thank you for your reply by the way
