My first run, i would love tips.

Hey guys, im new to this forum and this whole process of 'Extracting DMT' so please go easy on me.

Well let me start off by thanking everyone who will help me out in the near future.

Back to the topic, this is my first time extracting DMT from Mimosa hostilis root bark. I basically want some pointers to what i might be doing wrong.

My items:
-A 473mL glass jar.
-300mL of water.
-20g of Lye
-20g of RootBark
-20mL of Naptha
-And abunch of other items like pette, pH papers, ect...

Im going to run through what i want to do.

1.Fill the 473mL jar with 300mL of water.
2.Slowly add Lye(20 grams) into the water. (mix it slowly till everything is dissolved)
3.Add 20 grams of Mimosa Hostilis rootbark into the 473mL jar, and shake well.
5.Let it sit for about 2 hours.
6.Add 20mL of Naptha into the jar and slowly mix it by fliping it over and over.
7.Let it sit for an hour and repeat step 6.
8.Using a pipette/syringe, extract the top layer(Naptha) and place it into a small glass jar.
9.Let it sit in the freezer for 24 hours.
10.Take out youre batch and filter out the Naptha through a coffe thing. (still letting youre crystals dry out)

And finished!

my main question is, will all the ingredients fit into a 473mL glass jar?

-2 lb Food Grade Red Hot Devil Lye Sodium Hydroxide
-(H) VM and P Naphtha Quart

All for around 70$, is this a good buy?

Im expecting to yeild 184mg from this 473mL project. Did i calculate this correct?



EDIT: One last question, i dont have a scale, so how would i scale out 20 grams of the Root bark? (powdered)

20 grams is 0.705 dry ounces. If you have some measuring cups in your kitchen....but fluid ounces and dry ounces vary in the density of the material. That mhrb is not dense at all. If you had a scoop, like one of the those scoops from whey protein, you could use that. 20 grams, is about 1.45 table spoons also. Most of those whey protein scoops are 22 grams.

You could eye ball the lye and the mimosa. The lye is more dense then the root bark, so maybe add a little less lye. The most important thing is to have an equal weight of lye and mhrb. The water and solvent really don't matter as much.

Everything you mentioned sounds fine. But you want to collect the Naphtha after each time you add it, once it separates. Your step 6 should say: 6.Add 20mL of Naphtha into the jar and slowly mix it by flipping it over and over, let it sit for 30 to 40 minutes and separate, and then collect the top layer....then repeat 4 times.

You should also keep the mhrb/lye/Naphtha mixture, in a heat bath, which will speed up the separation time.

I would use a bigger jar. Just use a one-liter empty bottle of whatever. Just make sure your pipette is long enough. This would be way easier and practical, if you used one pound of mhrb, one pound of lye, and a empty gallon of water as a jug. What you would do then is: fill the one gallon jug half way with distilled water, add lye, then add mhrb, then 450ml of Naphtha per pull. Easy peasy japanesey!

When I buy everything, I usually am just careful to get the the lye and naphtha from different stores. The only thing I order is the mimosa, and I use a pre-paid Visa card for that.
You should only order the mimosa if you can buy the rest of the stuff locally but if you cannot,... invest in prepaid credit cards and shop from in different stores. Seriously, it wouldn't take a genius to figure out what that shopping list is for if that person is DEA or Interpol.

Well we did ship it to a friend actually. My brother bought the supplies and had it shipped to my close buddie. just wouldn't want any cops to raid his house at one point.

MHRB is not illegal just so you know. But once the dmt is extracted, it officially becomes very illegal for some stupid reason. There will always be Bud Light and DUI's though... laws yes, but people who smoke pot and take psychedelics are pure evil...just terrible people according to your average dummy.

The MHRB is always advertised "Not For Human Consumption" and it has many other uses besides dmt content. The tannins are what make it a good natural dye, it's used for wood products, and treatment of skin wounds.

It should stay legal I think. The problem is dmt is becoming popular and since the extraction is so easy, idiots will get busted in college campuses and out door venues.

I'm sure there are commercial-grade labs that get busted occasionally as well. Not sure how often it happens though.

You can order MHRB and have it sent to your house without too much worry, as long as you don't order the other stuff. I would go get pre-paid credit cards and use cash, not a credit card to purchase them. After your done with them, you just throw them away and they are very difficult to trace. Most vendors are careful as well with their customers credit card info I think. At least my guy is. Also, all MHRB is pretty much the same despite what is advertised...the vendors all drink the same Kool-Aid.

One question, So i hear there are 'types' of DMT? And if i am correct, we will be extracting 5meoDMT from Mimosa Hostilis, correct?

use a bong put parsly on top. cherry the parsly then stop lighting it just continue hitting it with huge inhales. put like .1 maximum in try finishing it in under 1min. then ull recieve the feelings u seek.
