My first time

So me, my friends "T" and "S" went into the forest to smoke dmt. We didn't have a freebase pipe so we just put it in a glass bowl on top of some nug and held the lighter close to the dmt. I decided to take some xanax an hour or two before we did it in fear of it being too much for me(I get severe panic attacks and frequent LSA flashbacks that are sometimes overwhelming). Anyways, I held it in, exhaled, everything around me became very detailed as the plants around me started to grow. I began to laugh insanely and closed my eyes. I don't remember anything after that but I came too after less than 5 minutes. It wasn't intense at all (maybe too much xanax?) but IMMEDIATELY after I woke up I felt pretty happy and I wanted to go deeper but we didn't have any more. I was pretty dissapointed to be honest. Next time, I'm going to freebase it.

I was dissapointed because I was expecting to be launched out of this world into space and the duration was shorter than expected too. I have done my research carefully for a while now and after reading what I have read I had expected something more. I really want to "break through" though I'm both excited and scared
