I have extracted spice by means of A/B and naphtha, STB naphtha and also xylene pulls salted with FASA and converted back to FB. I have thus experienced spice ranging from brilliant white fluff to slightly waxy and sand colored.

Out of all of the products, my favourite by far is the spice I get from the simplest, most ghetto STB with no recrystallization. I prefer the smell, taste and effects. For some reason I also need a whole lot less to get me to where I want to be. No idea if this is due to impurities in the form of unknown alkaloids in MHRB?

15 to 20mg of sandy spice is enough for me to have "entity contact". I love the way it smokes too.

Is there anyone else who prefers their spice with some of the plant's tannins and residue left in?

Can't say i mind a bit of a yellow tint to my spice... And yes I agree, the yellow stuff often does pack a bit more of a punch. But sometimes it is nice to have some sparkly white hedgehogs to perv at :)

I'm not sure what to think. I've tried some very yellow spice from xylene extractions that made me think I would always prefer the darker spice, but then had some experiences from nice white crystals that were so smooth and nice in the transition stage that made me swear that white is best.
I think the only sure thing I know is that I don't know what to expect on any given journey. Sometimes I'm somewhat underwhelmed while other times I'm overwhelmed to the point of tears of joy and shattered reality. To me, every journey is a crapshoot but its most always a deep positive experience. In the few times its negative I've learned something too. In all, spice experiences are very unpredictable.
