Mystery alkaloid - please help with your feedback

Hi guys,

I am trying to trace my steps based on a past set of 20 or so experiences from one source, taken over 2 years. It was given to me by someone, so I do not know the tek used, but I have clues that I want to share with you to see if, given the forum's collective experience, you guys might have some ideas.

The experience:

1) yellow powder, but rough in texture, not a fine sand, tryptamine smell.
2) wouldn't burn with flame, needed to use ceramic heating element that goes well over 200C, which, to me, implies DMT was actually destroyed.
3) dose was around 50mg, taken over 10 or so deep breaths through a water bong with a titanium nail to hold it.
4) trip was very mentally visual, meaning closed eye geometries, 'the room', and then a new universe with complete ego death
5) coming down causes significant shivering, indicative of pretty heavy body load, but also a complete joy that shakes you to the core. Much more emotional than pure DMT for me.
6) less schizophrenic than pure DMT, much easier to remember details,
7) 15 minutes of immersion, an hour of afterglow. Peak is maybe 5 minutes in. A ride but also a journey. A sped up version of Aya.

So my guesses are that this is either NMT or DMT-oxide or Yuremamine or some unknown alkaloid. I base this on the combination of color and other threads having spoken to similar subjects.

Does anyone have any idea based on their experiences?

Hey quantimoto! Before jumping into conclusions i would like to ask you a few questions:
Do you know what plant material was used for the extracted product?
You are saying you smoked around 50mg divided in 10 hits from the bong?
Where the visual effects also present when eyes where open, like they would normally with your previous experiences with DMT?
After getting answer for these questions maybe i can give you a more informed opinion on the subject.
Smoking 5mg per hit might slowdown the onset and peak of the experience if that was the case, also making it less visually explosive and easier to digest. Definitely a very different experience than saying taking 15-20mg on a single hit.
Depending on the plant matter used it can definitely be caused by different alkaloid content.
Not having any extreme open eye visual distortions but a kind of subtle but longer euphoric experience is very common with NMT dominant extracts IME, NMT is usually oily but prolonged drying might end up in powder.

I do not know the plant material used, but even if it was ACRB, they somehow got it into yellow powder with large rough crystals (not perfect crystals) form while retaining that flame resistant wax like characteristic.

Yes, in terms of the dividing up the dose, and curiously the reason I did it this way is because the way it would burn off using the method I described. It produced large hits without consuming the entirety of the material. If it vaporized as DMT normally does, I suspect this intake method would have been difficult to execute (and I wouldn't have even tried).

The eyes open look was kaleidoscopic, and similar to DMT though I might say even more fluid in terms of the motion (more movement to go with the blur).

In any case, I know there is no sure way to know, but thought others might have experienced something like the not vaporizing easily effect, which is what I find most strange from the facts that I can objectively share (vs subjectively share).

Maybe bufo? That or some dmt salt. Hard to say without more info.

My first suggestion is: don't smoke random drugs people give to you. God knows what it is, how it was extracted (or synthed..), how clean the chemicals used were, etc.

As for identification, there are endless possibilities. I'd get a TLC kit to have better idea on what it is.

I don't think it's bufo based on my experience with it from toad venom, but I could be wrong.

and yeah, it was a trusted source that only told me DMT.

This was a few years ago and I don't have any left to test. I took it for granted that it was just pure DMT.

I have since learned about extraction etc, but that's how I realized it wasn't pure DMT, and now I'm trying to figure out how to re-create what it was.

crazy thought: is it possible that I was smoking fumerate, hence the high vaporization temp?

EDIT: maybe that's what was meant by 'DMT salt' above?
