Naphtha vs. Naphtha VM&P

I seriously can't find Naphtha VM&P anywhere, but I was able to find Naphtha called White Gas Fuel (http://www.homehardware.ca/en/rec/i...fZ67l/Ne-67n/Ntk-All_EN/R-I6332051?Ntt=naptha)

I'm going to be using Noman's tek (Noman's tek - DMT-Nexus Wiki) and I'm wondering if it would make a difference if I used the above Naphtha instead of the VM&P?

white gas fuel is just another name for naphtha, not the brand name.

Rust inhibitor added for corrosion protection

but it doesn't quite look like it is safe (though i may be mistaken).

I bought this "white gas" and it turned out to be pink. You can't, in good conscience, use this stuff because you don't know why it's pink... although it may have simply been food coloring, added for the very purpose to dissuade people from using it for extracting things.

But, I was very pissed off and I decided to write a letter to the company. The letter said, "HEY!!! I bought your 'naphtha' hoping to use it to extract drugs, and this pink shit is what I get? I wasted nine dollars. Fuck you!" They responded with an apology, and said they'll send me some of the pure shit and wished me well on my illegal endeavors. I said I appreciate their good customer service, and as a thank you, I sent them some home made cooking, made with love by my wife. Some pure crystals made with pure product.

I'm just kidding. It shouldn't be illegal to cultivate or consume dmt. I just wrote it that way because I know the tone I wrote that in would annoy, or offend, or cause some weird reaction in some people. Just a joke.

well for thinning paint and / or treating panels ... try this ...

if you call up or look in car paint supply shops for panel wipe or the equivalent, they are usually 100% naptha or close to it!, get the fast evap kind.

This is what panel wipe is called in the uk.

The above worked for a friend of a friend, he had no problems and an evap test was 100% clean on 100ml!

even still, its best you check the MSDS of whatever solvent you are using unless you are 100% (even then, double-checking never hurt).

but U-POL panel wipe (which i am assuming is what you refer to) is pure hexane with no adulterants.

Your are totally right about checking the MSDS. I do believe though that all types of panel wipe has to be a totally volatile solvent as paint is usually applied next and any residue would affect the paints ability to stick to the treated surface.

Best bet would be find a store that supplies the panel wipe, get its name, search for its msds, if in doubt paste on the nexus and if its all good, he / she is onto a winner

so next time I go to look for this stuff I should look in the paint section, specifically paint thinner? I'm sure if I know where to look I can find it instead of aimlessly looking at everything lol

its used in the vehicle spraying industry, but if you look in regular house paint sections, you probably wont find it.

Best bet is go to or call a supplier of paints to the vehicle spraying industry, they should have some sort of panel wipe, then look up its msds and if in doubt paste it here.

thanks, but i went to a paint store a few days ago and got a 1gal jug of VM&P Naphtha, it's clear and i'm evaporating it now and it's all clear, was about the same price as that too

Excuse me if I break the suppliers rule, but I recently got VM&P brand naptha online through Amazon for a very reasonable price, and the shipping time was way quicker than I thought. Also, I've read the ACE hardware chain stores frequently carry VM&P, though the one right near my house didn't.
