Naptha evaporation?

Migrated topic.

Due to certain circumstances, the freeze precipitation method, I fear, may be out of the question for me.
I'm fully able to perform the rest of the desired tek, though the finialisation will be difficult.

Aside from leaving the naptha in a flat tray with a large surface area under a fan, is there any other way to evaporate it without spoiling my freebase goodies?

I was thinking about heating up an aluminium (disposable) tray to 30-40 degrees in the oven and sitting aproximately 200ml of naptha solution in it. (low depth = faster evaporation?)
Whilst this took place I would heat another tray to the same temperature, and by the time the heat had dissipated from the tray in use, I would pour the solution into the heated one.

To me, this seems like a viable procedure, as I think the 30-40 degree heat (celsius) will be below the crystal's boiling point, so there will be little loss of end product.

Hi,

If you got your naptha by the window with a fan it shouldnt smell too much, naptha isn't too bad. Xylene on the other hand is a different story! I used to freeze preci my stuff for ages, but now I just evap, less mess and easier & + i only use xylene now which you can't freeze!

I've never used heat, and with a fan, the naptha evap's suprisingly quick, mine's generall ready to go within the hour, xylene on the other hand can take hours or days!

Peace

I usually dont evap as my spice comes out yellow and it vapes harsh. Not that I mind the extra oils but I feel the chances for impurities is greater.
Can any give evidence contrary to this?

Also, is response to evaporating xylene... Why not just salt the actives out? I just can't imagine making my house reek of xylene (though I guess using it at all would stink up a the area it's used in) I never used it myself.
