Need Help with acquiring materials

So swim and his friend are going to make some DMT. Here's the thing. They have the mhrb and most of the requisite materials except for the NaOH and the Naphtha. Swim and his friend have looked in hardware stores and cannot find it. They are in a big city and would like to be able to buy it somewhere instead of online. Suggestions please?

Some home improvement stores such as Lowes sometimes carry lye for drain clearing....you will have to verify it is pure NaOH. This really depends on where you live though, as lye is a watched material.

It's strange you cannot find Naphtha in a hardware store. Any place that sells paint should have it.

Anyplace with camping gear will have camping stoves and naturally camping stove fuel (Naphtha).

Okay then I Should probably be able to find the naptha. Is there a brand name for lye that I can search for? I went to lowes last night and the guy I talked to didn't even know what lye is..

try the pharmacy.... NaOH... that is, assuming u aren´t american
For naphta if u have nowhere else to turn zippo premium lighter fuel rocks, but it´s quite expensive dough, and that poses no prob if you recycle it
