Need some help first time extraction

So my dumbass thought a week studying organic chemistry made me smart enough to do this

I revised Lazymans' tek with the suggestion of the community through many forums. I basically just reduced the amount of lye, implemented some safety measures (Which I ended up screwing up eventually).

1. 50g MHRB powdered as possible in 1L 24/40 Flask, twirled for few minutes
2. Added 200mL of distilled water to a 500mL beaker, added 20g of Lye slowly.
3. Added the basified water to the other flask, twirled for 10 minutes, set aside for 30 minutes, came back and repeated the 10 minute / 30 minute cycle.
4. Added 50mL of naphtha, twirled for 15 minutes, let it sit for 15.
5. Did not just pour the top layer off and instead used a pippette system with a couple of collection jars. My dumbass kept adding water to those jars to show separation but I think I added too much. I was just supposed to siphon the top but I guess I emulsifed it and thought adding more water would solve it. I was also stoned at this point where I probally fucked up the rest of the extraction by doing that.
6. Regardless I did 2 of those collection jars, which both look like the pictures below now... and I dont know how to get what I need to get out of here.
7. I did a few more pulls and have the root bark and flask (1L) still in the regular fridge (not freezer), so Im guessing Ill wait another 24 hours and then siphon the top of that (clear liquid only), then freeze participate it over a tray?
8. I did get one tray of freeze participate from all that which I will check on shortly, since I didn't have a lid to put it in the fridge I wrapped it in like 5 layers of aluminium foil and now I have to figure out how to get the smell out of the extra fridge in the garage as well. Its funny cause all I had to do was wait 2-3 days and the rest of my equipment would of been here (flask with lid so I wouldn't have to put aluminum foil then flip a beaker upside down on top of it, stoner engineering that is retarded).

I just want to experience.

How do I save whats in the two jars (siphoned naphtha in freezer). They both smell like straight petroleum and Im not going back in there for few hours. Both are still in the freezer.

The color still looks brown and light which makes me think you didn't add enough base, it should turn almost black.

Trying adding a strong base solution to see if there's color change, that can also help with emulsions.

Thats not my main flask, should i still do this? This is extracted from the top naptha in a separate clean container with distilled water. and then froze in freezer

Its better to dissolve the mhrb in some vinegar water solution first.

Also, its better to heat not boil the mhrb vinegar first for a few hours, and then add the lye solution.

Then be sure to mix the naphta in thoroughly by inverting the container a few times then let it settle on top for some time.

It seems to me you're not using any mechanical or thermal energy to facilitate the reaction.

That seems to have been the problem. When first learning to extract, pick a tek and stick to it, the ones in the wiki are tried and true. You'll have time to experiment later, once you're sure you understand the process. I'd be very surprised if reducing the amount of lye in any of the established STB teks would lead to better results.

Also, avoid extracting while high, particularly to a degree you admit to have found impairing. You're handling dangerous products and can easily end up harming yourself or others, luckily in this case you only messed up your extraction.

Yeah that explains why it looks light, it seems like you pulled base soup along with the naphtha/emulsion, adding water to help with the seperation was good but there's no point in freezing it like that. I would try adding a bit more base, warm it in a hot water bath, and mix to ensure all the dmt is in the naphtha, then pull the naptha and freeze precip.
