- hi everybody, i've been reading a lot on this forum lately, just finisht my second extraction (STB), i enjoy learning some stuff about chemistry (i'm still a rookie though), so figured it would be a good step to become a member.
(needless to say i'm not new to psychedelics)
- first question is about NaOH. i understood that when you talk about contamination, you mostly refer to plant based contamination (and that's what recystallization is mostly for right?).
and that if you don't shake (or not to much) the jar with the two layers there won't be an emulsion, plus that if the ph-level is higher (by adding more NaOH), there is also less chance of emulsion.
but i understood that for getting an emulsion between two substances you need an emulgator (if that's the right word), the stuff that enables the two substances to really mix.
i'm sorry but i can't really get clear how there would be contamination from NaOH, and how much a chance that is. (ofcourse if you don't suck up some with the naphta when you want to put the stuff in the freezer)
- second thing was more something i was daydreaming about, do you guys know a blind person who did DMT, and especially weather that person had a breaktrough?
i think this applies to other substances with a psychedelic treshold, like sally D and special K. i wondered wether there would be a difference in what that person would see, and what conclusions you could draw.
- i know these three parts (introduction-extraction question- general question) should be in different sub-parts of the forum, sorry about that, i thought it would be a waste of space making three topics. but ofcourse if you want i'll delete this one and do it right.
allso if the questions are lame, just say so.
