The issue had to do with chats without a valid room, so called orphaned items. Their crying for their parents caused the troubles...

Glitch:
PM 'Bubbles' disappearing randomly...reload doesn't help.

edit: Appears to be related to latency...with VPN off, latency reduced to 62ms..they returned.

most of my 'bubbles' are gone so I can't PM most folks. Occasionally the flash shockwave pluggin crashes and I have to kill firefox and restart

Rivea: The shockwave plugin crashing is not something I can do anything about, it's not made by me.
