New intro for and old old member.

Ferrum

Esteemed member
Well change is the constant.

Ive been wefollowthatriver from 2006 to about 2014

Then mrtree or something I think from 2014 to about 16 and then ferrum once i completed my biochemistry studies after I forgot my password like many old members here.

So it looks like I'll have to prove myself here all over again to get full member access .....again 😆 😆 😆.

Ok most my old posts here are about ayahuasca vines and such. Im prob one of the larger east coast USA collectors of individual species and cultivars of ayahuasca as that has been a hunt of mine for over 20 years .

Same with various viridis spp.

Im an old head now 😆. Been growing mushies and collecting types of them as well first since near the first days of the shroomery and McPherson s syringe PF days of hightimes spore purchasing jar making days. Old head indeed.

Im a collector and medicine man of a type now. The USA really doesn't have a psychedelic vetting senior program to introduce young people to the spiritual pathways of journeying realms but....they re on their way now for the last 20 or 30 years I feel and im happy to say that real ground work has been laid down for passing down knowledge of the spaces thanks to the Nexus and the shroomery and our Oz friends across the big pond and many others I've forgot to say .

Lots of new hybrids of viridis leaf like nexus and nexus 2 and other Cath or alba crosses .

Damn viridis can be so slow 😆 to grow.

But my garden grows every year with new finds .cactus has bit me now and ive enjoyed @urtica's analysis reports of old cactus clones that I've now reached about 10k in clone hunting costs 😆.

But you know a good ally when you find one as you all know .

What else? Im a big fan of salvia and rare types like recognita and glutinosa which I've some old grow posts here about . planted a few this season in fact. ....though recent lore has rumoured that they are devoid of magic ....we 'll see this fall😉.

I ve some nice cebil trees and coca and thanks to STS as mrtree on there ive a lot of nice acacia trees and do most of my spice harvesting from my own homegrown and renewable sourced personal plants teachers . I love them . most of my spice can be mined from p.v. nexus That i ordered from Darren way way back in 2013 and since i always grow 1 or 2 new plants from a leaf harvest I've obtained quite a garden since 2013.

The journey and knowledge continues . im kinda happy to reintroduce myself again. These iterations are reflective of the time that has passed and how much ive changed too.

So dont be a stranger if you see me lurking around .💛

Hey Ferris! Welcome back once again!

That’s really inspiring that you are producing your own spice “in house”. Aside from psychotria nexus, are there some other plants you are using? Any species you are particularly fond of?

Sounds like you have been around the block. I’m looking forward to more of your contributions. Always great to have more knowledgeable plant enthusiasts here!

Welcome back to The Nexus!

Sounds like you have a real garden of Eden growing! . Would love to see some of your cacti collection for inspiration!

That's amazing you are basically self sufficient on the spice front a gold of many around the forums, I'm sure you could share snd hekp alot of people here with the knowledge you have aquired growing these plants

Looking forward to seeing you around the forums.

Thank you for all the love guys. Truly. I really cant hate on the nexus ever tbh. Even if I had to start over on accounts bc there is sooo much here that it's truly limitless. Im truly honoured to be a member .

Spice from my plants really didnt start out from much other than looking for ayahuasca additions . i was a big weed head growing up and loved education at the same time so i happens to stumble onto shultzies (sp) and Hoffman's "plants of the gods" book a few years later and naturally got curious as to what other plants would induce exotic states of mind.

I worked at a mom and pop garden center in those days to get discounts on weed growing materials and soils etc and was surprised to find out that there were some of the plants in the green house .

Well what if I smoke them lol 😆?

If memory serves i put periwinkle and angels trumpet and wormwood and skullcap (maybe)....gosh i know it was at least one other minor psychotropic plant and some skunk weed into a fat joint and smoked it with coworkers during break and all of us walked back more stoned than ever.

I've added ginko leaves before too with odd results ..

This was just curiosity . of course more synthetics became available like lsd and id make my extracts of lsa then too.

I couldnt find much at my local nursery . but growing shrooms has been a near 30 year hobby now. Since then ive bought a neat big ole biosafety cabinet and plenty of other helpful lab ware and glass that s just a real joy to have and do most of my own making s myself save s few complicated gems that require precursors id rather stay under radar of..

Im happy with what I do. I think I mostly for 15 years just grew shrooms and studied and smoked ..i found some salvia plants in 2004 and didn't know much about extracting then bc really all I was reading was erowid reports about lsa and trying to make my own or grow my own highs.

Nndmt hadn't hit my radar yet. I saw the sections in plants of the gods about ayahuasca but tbh it didn't interest me much ..

Time passed. Bought a house joined the nexus for extraction teks on lsa. Saw dmt teks and mecaline and all the acacia talk

I really started looking at what's within plants at that point ..started growing now old clones like white widow and Durban poison and skunk and white rhino and a buddy asks about that old book and what happened to it bc I was always reading it .

Well wouldn't you know it time had passed enough that lots of those hard to find plants were at ler botanicals and lots of other now defunct online sites . i found ayahuasca.com and sts and sts I think helped the most .

San pedros and Peruvians and a. madenii and salvias and banisteriopsis s started filling corners of my house and window so I did what any other hooked on plants guy would do and took off the roof the the detached garage and put clear roof panels on it and turned it into a greenhouse .

Seemed natural .....more hunting now...phalaris s and cebil trees and skullcaps and every one a new and exotic friendship and colour of personality that "plants of the gods" just couldnt pass on more than the word. I really understood the beginning of maybe shamanism that point .

Salvia extractions and journeys became more than ever before . aya saved my life from self destruction of a harmful drinking habit id developed . i self journeyed on aya and met folk online that drew me later to ONAC when I started trying peyote a little and that really turned me on to cactus and cactus collecting later.

But mostly it was ayahuasca and psychotria hunting in those days . i think my favorite of them is black ayahuasca . banisteriopsis murcata . most people have the wrong plant . it has beautiful silver leaves and shimmers on the bottom.

Acacia s came later bc I had to keep a lot of them in pots. So I looked at ones with high leaf extraction material bc honestly I always hated killing cannabis for harvest . sounds over hippy but still .i wish cannabis was not an annual mostly .

You're right it is an Eden. Im grateful . sts and the nexus kinda helped me get there some . well provided the foundation . I've even a few toads that i try to keep as happy as possible for 5meo.

Been raising them for about 15 years and am trying to breed them once ive a better facility space for them which is coming underway . but plants always remains my focus . I have had various other types for spice .

Ive a chaliponga and bundleflowers of 2 types . grasses like reed canary and big medicine. Some, well a lot of peyote . lot of trichocerus of all types ..most of what I grow is trichocerus and psychotria .

I find psychotria to be the toughest shrub for my climate and space and care and extraction purposes .

Where will this journey end? Ive learned to much and seen and felt and journeyed so much and far and it feels still there is more .

I guess that s the point . and gratitude . thank you guys for being here all those years to read and learn and grow and journey with alongside . I can't wait to see what's further 😊. Peace and love to you all here .
