It could be more easily found and thereby of more use to others if it were in the preps section instead of the extractions/noob section. (Don't know if that was already in your plan, lots of threads out there I'm sure this is a lot of work, I'll just let you do your thing).
I definietly liked it better at the top, after all they only have to move their eyes down three lines before the priority is REALISED. By the way are you still not to of tried DMT SWIMfriend??SWIMfriend said:I originally thought "the site" should go on top (and had already been used to it there)...and then I realized: why put that in people's faces FIRST? The first PRIORITY (spice) should be at the top of the list. "The Site" really is more appropriate at the bottom, it now seems to me.

I think the Philosophy/Spirituality and Music/Art/Literature sections should be separate entities in the Culture/Society section. Could add Science/Tech into the Phil/Spirit sections I suppose, as many of the topics cross reference nowadays. Just too many different topics thrown into one overarching mess in my opinion.
This is true but we're only talking about three slots here, and unless you have some retro monitor it isn't going to take up your whole screen. I think it's a good face (start up info) for the site as it shows Nexus is not just another forum and prides itself on feedback, organisation and progress; not incoherent bickering and wild accusations filled with miss-information and ignorance. Having THE SITE at the top really bumped up the professional appeal I believe and created a more homely feel, and like you said made sure current updates and news were found by members. The Traveler said:And Top/Bottom for the THE SITE: On the one hand I want to have people look at the announcements but on the other hand, subfora in THE SITE are taking way too much space off the top of the forum-front.
The Traveler said:I think I'll put back these subfora:
* Philosophy/Spirituality/Science (should be interesting to combine these two, burnt's topic fits perfect in this one)
"Methods" could relate to methods of extraction as well as methods of ingestion. Seems to fit to me.amor_fati said:Perhaps renaming the Hyperspace Tavern to The Nexus Commons? I like the new layout but feel that perhaps "The Site" should be at the top? Also, I like Preparations and Methods but would probably tweak it to Preparations and Methods of Administration, as "methods" may be a bit too general.

Well all know that all the sheep run in one direction with out thinking. This is a big problem for me and I am sure many others. I for one am sick of jumping thru societies hoops just to be respectable to faimly or friends and earn a living. Let me run this by everyone how about a section to cultivate alt culture Self-Sufficiency. We all have different skill but if we band together I think this group at the Nexus could accomplish just about any thing. I am sick and tired of piss tests for the masses wile the US congress/senate/president remains exempt.
A world wide co op maybe. Tips and advice for starting bussiness. Maybe even a finical aspect were small loans could be made to others this is already being done with excellent results.
Lets put a end to Conform or be Cast out.
