new to dmt need advice

hi everyone

im new to dmt and psychedelics in general having only done weed and very weak shrooms before

but i have strong conviction and a good support network so i figured id be fine as ive spent years researching dmt. for the most part i was fine i did 10 mg and i was so chill just loving the visuals lots of jester heads on the floor. i was having such a great time i kept smoking but most my product was smoked already so i didnt get any new effects

after about 15 minutes i decided to go back in to try for a breakthrough so i put in 15mg (but due to what i realise now was ineffective vaping technique) i didn't breakthrough but i did semi lose conciseness my body was still present and the only normal thing to me so i know that much but all i remember is the peak of the trip .... i saw this tiki mask entity inside the trees outside and certain items in my room he was building and melting them over and over and i got super unsettled

this entity took notice and asked why i was there but i couldn't respond then it started chanting "DMT" and laughing as if cheering me on to do more i have since come to understand the trip and I've grown so much from its lesson already but i cant shake this sense of "hesitation" to go for a full breakthrough or do it again which i know regardless i will do it again soon because im not scared and i do want to see more

but i need some "bad trip" advice even if it wasn't really "bad" i need some advice on how to get over that anxiety pre trip or ways to ease any panic or feelings of your ego clawing and screaming to cling to you if that makes sense I've already got a few methods noted down such as using witchcraft (my belief system) to cleanse my set and setting before going in and having positive mantras and powerful items around me but i wanna cover all bases and have all the tools to face any discomfort with confidence and make any bad trips learning experience's

oh i should also note the main thing i really didn't
like about that trip is that the entity put this liquid in my mouth that tasted hella funky idky what that was about but i wonder if anyone else has had that experience

Hi, welcome!

People have all sorts of experiences - literally anything, pretty much - so it doesn't pay to get too hung up on any one aspect of just one experience. To me it sounds like it reflects the sometimes funky taste that vaped DMT can have if the temperature is a bit off or whatever.

Hope this tidbit helps - let us know how it goes with some subsequent experiences, since I see you've had a bit more of a chat in your other thread.

Whatever you do, do not pick up your phone and call people I repeat do not call people.
 
To help with bad trips / bad entities:

If you have your awareness about you, either think or say out loud "and. then. I. (insert action here)"
such as "and then I hurt it" or "and then I went somewhere else"

It works for me in dreams and DMT trips both. In both situations I can't really control myself vs entities by the usual ways I move my body/ act in this normal experience. Everything has to be self-narrated to have effect. Sometimes they fight back, or keep trying what they're doing, so you keep going with the "and thens" or adapt to how they've adapted.

It's can be grueling fighting. Watch out of for nice things just as much as weird and bad things.

But usually a good shove and they leave for easier prey.

EDIT: other options
If 'pain' doesn't work, you can try "and then I broke its stuff" or "and then I made it feel good about being a slave" this covers a lot of ground.
If the being feels like another person sort of energy "and then I went to break their cups" is probably the worst thing you could threaten them with.

Less sentient mechanistic beings or directly beamed energy:
For fear energy (to scare you away from what you want) I recommend "and then I terrified it" or "and then I humiliated it"
For terror energy (to horrify / hurt you into killing yourself) I recommend "and then I hung out with my friends"
For depression energy (to depress you to get you to kill yourself) I recommend "and then I hung out with my friends" (you never fight these two, you always stay out of reach while doing what you do)
For anger energy (fatherly judgment to prevent your course of action "how disappointing" etc...) I recommend "and then I told it a joke."

and by far the most dangerous ones of all:

For pleasure/worship/awe/royalty or mother (the "because I'm your mother" mother) energy (to get you to feel good about obeying something) I recommend "and then I stepped on a Lego" or anything with physical shock to you. The shock is more important than the pain. Could be vomiting, tazing yourself, etc. Sudden sharp shock to the system. This will remove the pleasure and give you enough time to beat the hell out of the thing, or any option above.

Now, you may ask, if everything is just out to get you. Hard to tell. The best way to go about this, in my opinion, is to know what you're after before going in, so you have something to compare the entities actions against to make a decision.

If you're after pleasure, by all means. Don't be surprised though if you suddenly find yourself doing what it says.

Let go of your thoughts, mostly they lead to expectations or trying to describe the trip while you're tripping. Don't try to stop or change the thoughts, just allow them to arise and fade, like a leaf on a stream. This will take some time.
