Last night my friend had a dream about a girl named SWIM. SWIM was trying to smoke DMT. She used a homemade device made from a glass salad dressing bottle with a screw-on plastic cap. She made two holes in the cap, stuck a glass straw in one hole to inhale from, and stuck a plastic straw through the other hole to serve as a carb. SWIM put her DMT in the bottom of the bottle, lit it from beneath with a bic lighter, and... nothing. SWIM watched the crystals melt and disappear but no smoke appeared in the chamber and SWIM got nothing when she inhaled from it. What went wrong? Did the DMT get too hot, not hot enough? Is the bottle too big for this purpose? Is the glass too thick? Or is this just not a good setup. SWIM based it on the test-tube setup that 69Ron and others have described, which seems like it would work really well. SWIM used the salad dressing bottle because she didn't have a test tube on hand and didn't want to wait. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, SWIM is very eager to have a good experience from smoking!
