Hi, I'm in a situation where someone I know has inherited about twelve Mason jars that have powdered mimosa hostilis root, naphthalene, and lye. He's been shaking the jars cyclically, but doesn't know what to do from here.
I've read vague online instructions, but I was hoping to get some more comprehensive information through a somewhat interactive means; hence, this introduction ; )

I'm sure that lucky inheritor will find whatever he needs here: Wiki - The Nexian DMT Handbook. Also elsewhere on the Wiki, Resources section, and many threads. The instructions there are anything but vague.
He also may be interested in this point of the Attitude page, given the amounts involved: Attitude Page - DMT-Nexus Wiki

7adrian7davis7,

Welcome to the Nexus.

The Wiki has many extraction paths available as mentioned.

If this is a serious post, the first thing you/they should do is get ahold of chemical safe gloves, full eye protection goggles and a dual cartridge respirator. Some glass pipettes of various sizes will also be helpful. The second thing you/they should do is read, read, read, research, research, research.

I would recommend looking through the DMT Extractions in the Wiki under DMT Extraction Teks/STB (straight to base) for more detailed directions . . .

P.S.: If you/they really were "shaking" it may not work in terms of separation of layers. Gentle mixing/rolling is the way to go.
