Newbie with lots of questions

Hi I am just starting to get my head around this all and am looking forward to a garden full of bright yellow flowers in a couple of years.
I am very curious about the acid bath step with acuminata and A/B.
I have been led to believe that a acid bath over 60C will degrade the spice.
It seems weird when there are many teks that boil it even pressure cook and then even boil it down to reduce the volume of A before the B step.
If anyone could enlighten me I would be very grateful.

I have been led to believe that a acid bath over 60C will degrade the spice.

In an acid bath, DMT will be in salt form. For example, if you use vinegar it will be in acetate form. DMT in salt form is very stable, you can steep it at 60C or even boil it without any danger of degradation.

To brew Ayahuasca, the plants are boiled for about 9 hours, and that doesn't cause any degradation. So you don't need to worry.
