Nexus Banners Gallery

Can we expand the deadline for submissions? I have been finishing up a game due out in a month and have not had time, but as a professional artist, who also have a nice idea.... How about April 15th?
I totally understand if that can not be done however.

FUUUUUUK!!

Most of them are truly amazing! And I love the banners rotation. Traveler, after the voting and such, can we at least keep the 5-6 top favourites in rotation? It would be sad to see them gone (or at least not decorating like now. Or could we have one for each month?
 
I think this was mentioned in the [WANTED] thread as well, but today, we have 30 submitted banners if I counted right, and the site has 12 forum sections and 50 subforums, so besides the random rotation idea and the monthly idea, that could be a nice way to use several, and fun to decide. If programming-wise it is feasible.

Anyways, I agree that choosing only one will be VERY hard. It would be already hard for me to pick 5!

The banners are looking awesome! Well done everyone :d.

Just one thing I noticed, correct me if I am wrong because it may be my squiffy sight, but the banner by spaceshuttle says 'lean' instead or 'learn'. I thought I should mention it, hope I'm not being a pain.

I agree it will be very hard to pick one banner cos they are all beautiful. I wonder what would be the best way to do it?

Maybe make a list of all members who submitted banners and then let all members pick their favourite banner(s)(chosen number by Trav). The one or few with the most votes would be the winners. I think it would be good fun and very exciting to watch this voting over the chosen amount of days... :)

Then maybe if more then one allowed leave the winning banners in rotation or use one for each month or week ?
 
Just wanted to bump this so everyone can see all of the new banners that have been added.

Don't forget, the deadline is May 31st! You still have time!
 
Would it be possible to remove spaceshuttle's submission until the spelling error is fixed? I've noticed it's still live on the site.

I don't mean to be such an annoying perfectionist, but I see some of the banners have a noticeable "nearest neighbour" resize method with hard edges, because they link to the forum attachment instead of the actual banner file made by Trav. So if it would be possible to change the "/forum/resource.ashx?a=XXXXX" to "/banners/username.png/jpg" on these ones? With a quick glance the most noticeable are Guyomech, Art, tryptographer, and me. Thanks!

But anyway great work with the gallery!
