Is anyone here familiar or informed about eating/consuming RAW Cannabis? I am NOT asking if it will get me high.

One of my friends showed me literature explaining that Raw untouched Cannabinoids are perfectly designed for our bodies. They do not get you "HIGH", similar to our bodies Endocannabinoids. People with diseases or cancers are doing this supposedly.

Apparently they are juicing nugs/flowers and drinking shakes.

I will give you my take on this, a hypothesis if you will.

Hemp (Cannabis) Seed = All Essential Amino Acids (Proteins) + All Essential Fatty Acids (Omegas 3, 6, & 9) = Fuel for our bodily systems, and especially the Endocannabinoidal system (Homeostatic Bodily Systems Regulator).

Now we make the jump from the seed to the flowers/resins (Phytocannabinoids)

When you vaporize, smoke, eat, or topically consume processed Cannabis flowers or resins, you are utilizing a medicinal effect of the plant, an acute treatment of symptoms (Especially for people with Neuro-Degenerative diseases, MS, Turrets).

And finally onto the main subject, Consuming Raw Cannabis Flowers and Resins.

What I am understanding and gathering about this, is that eating the raw flowers in their whole form, is going to be more like a "Buffer" for your Cannabinoidal system. Kind of like a maintenance crew. Basically showing more of it's promise as a nutritional staple, as well as medicine. I am not sure of it's nutritional value, but that's why I am asking the question here :)

It's kind of like this

Hemp Seed - Farmers, Blacksmiths, Carpenters, = Builders
Consumed, smoked, processed Cannabis flowers/resins - Doctors, Hackers, Musicians, Artists, Shamans = Healers
Consuming RAW Cannabis flowers/resins - Scientists, Philosophers, Teachers, NEXIANS = Maintenance Crew

I haven't consumed raw cannabis (except in trace amounts: sometimes I may see a little leafy material on the table, and just eat it for the taste), but I've been led to believe that it's rather upsetting to the stomach. I think I kind of see what you're getting at with the medicinal properties of the plant, but I'm not quite sure if that's how that works. Why not just make cannabutter, get high and receive the medicinal effects? :d It's not like it's terribly hard at all to go through the process of making it.

I do cook with it. I am more interested in what the interaction between Unheated/Unprocessed Phytocannabinoids and our bodies is. I really need to speak with an expert, or someone with vast experience eating it RAW.

I've eaten a nug or 2 in my day of making edibles. I was curious to see what it tastes like. Soaked in warm butter it tastes fine, not too bad but nothing special either.
If it has beneficial effects aside from anti-cancer then cool but I wouldn't be eating it daily since it costs so much. Apple seeds are also anti-cancerous, the small amount of poison can kill the unwanted cells, and it's much cheaper.
