No crystalization just Brown sludge

I did a mhrb extraction following Cyb's Hybrid Salt Tek. I had no time to complete the process so I just did 2 pulls. I saved the solution. Now half a year later I continued. I did two pulls. After freezing I noticed that transparent white slimey balls were formed in combination with a lot of brown stuff on top. Because it didn't look like normal crystals I let the nafta evaporate till 20%. After freezing it again there is only brown sludge?
I understand that Sodium carbonate is not helping?
I searched the forum but didn't find an answer...
What to do?

What do you mean by "sodium carbonate is not helping"? Did you try a sodium carbonate wash and it didn't work?

I didn't try to use sodium yet. But out earlier threads I concluded that sodium probably wouldn't help.
What I just did, is heating it up with a bit of extra naphta. I separated the dark 'waste' from the rest. I will see tommorrow how that will work.

Dissolve your brown pudding in a minimal amount of room-temperature naphtha (don't heat it up at all), then try this. There is no reason that a sodium carbonate wash won't help, and I would be willing to bet that it will.

If that still doesn't work or it helps but still doesn't clean it up fully, try recrystallizing.

I have always done one sodium carbonate wash, followed by two distilled water washes to remove any traces of sodium carbonate. Just to be safe. If you follow the tek that I linked in my previous post to the letter, you should be good to go.

I followed the procedure. I didn't heated up the solvent but made it warm. I did the carbonate wash and then twice the dH2O wash. It became less dark, but the solution was still non-transparant and the color was yellow ochre.
I poured in a evaporation dish. Two hours later the yellow sedimented into a couple of brown spots. The rest of the solution became transparent but is still yellow.

Okay, so it sounds like it didn't work. The next thing to try would probably be recrystallization. The solution will remain yellow, don't worry about that. Just skip the "Decolorize with Carbon" step. It is optional, and not necessary for you at this point.

If you do that correctly, and it still doesn't produce any crystals/powder, then there is most likely not any DMT in your extract. This could be caused by mistakes during the extraction process, or it could simply be that the plant matter you were extracting from was not actually Mimosa hostilis rootbark.
