A friend of mine who lives in a free country where privacy is respected has some questions regarding the Noman tek and washing and purifying. He would like to do step 1 to step 5 of the Noman tek, which is the collection of the naptha, he is clear on what to do up to this point. From there, he would like to do a sodium carbonate wash.
First question: Is this the correct time to do a sodium carbonate wash?
If yes, he would like to proceed by evaporation instead freeze precipitation.
Second question:
Is this advisable, evap. instead of freeze?
If yes, he would like to then do a solvent wash ala Vovin tek.
Would this variation of the Noman tek work, and do you think it would produce quality results?
